Favorite and Least Favorite Season

   Okay, okay, i know everyone's gonna be all "this is the place for RELATIONSHIPS, this topic isnt supposed to go here!". But since Grey's is pretty much about relationships...well and medicine, I thought is would work better here than anywhere else.

   My favorite season was probably season 5, mainly because it was the best season for LOVE on the show. Izzie and Alex were finally happy & married, even though she had cancer, and Meridith and Derek had their adorable post-it wedding, and Cristina found someone after the whole Burke thing in season 3. The only part that pretty much killed me was that George had about a total of 12 lines throughout the entire season and they eventually ended up killing him off. He was my favorite :[ But overall it was a great season.

   My least favorite season was season  4, probably because it was the OPPOSITE of season 5. Izzie was with George, i absolutely LOVED them as friends, but i didnt like them as a couple because the chemistry wasnt there. Alex was with the Jane Doe/Rebecca/Ava chick which just confused me. I hated her with him, it was like she came out of nowhere, and she KEPT coming back. An finally, Derek and Nurse Rose. BLEHHH!!! It was just so weird to see Derek with someone other than Meridith... and well Addison i guess. And how annoying she was in the beginning of season 5 after he broke up with her. I mean, come on? did she really think they were gonna last? Another reason: season 4 was the shortest season, other than season 1.

   So now its everyone else's turn. What was your favorite/ least favorite season?

   Hm... this is actually really hard... my least favorite season isn't though. Season 3 was just too depressing for me and it tried way too hard to create a moment that it just felt contrived. Every episode after "From a Whisper to a Scream" was soo depressing. I actually liked Season 4 but we also have to consider that there was a strike during the season. My favorite season is hard... lol... it might just be Season Five. I think most people are going to say Season Two, but there was just something about Season Five that made the show so brilliant. And the storylines were so good. Actually, now that I'm rewatching it again on DVD, I'm realizing how brilliant it was and how well thought-out the Izzie-Denny thing was.

   My least favorite season is going to have to be Season 3. The first few episodes were alright (although when Izzie laid there on the bathroom floor for what seemed like an eternity, I wanted to go shake her and make her get up), but once Finn left and Meredith was once again trying to be with Derek, I was over the whole back and forth relationship. I understand that the point was to keep viewers watching, but it was getting old and tired (to me, anyway). There were so many depressing events that took place: George's dad dying, Meredith drowning, Burke leaving Cristina at the altar, Meredith's mom dying, the slap heard around the world...there's just so many. I hated the Ava/Alex relationship as well.

   My favorite season has to be Season 2 with Season 5 falling a close second. Season 2 was funny and brilliant and had episodes where I found myself at some point laughing and later crying. Both seasons had creative storylines, which makes them my top two favorites of all time.
