George and Izzie of course.
They both make each other better persons.
Izzie can be kind of a *itch at times, but George gets out her sweetest side, her most selfless one. He believes in her like nobody else does, and he makes her believe in herself.
He knows her inside and out. I love when he made that crack about Hannah having her mouth and probably talking and eating all the time like her mom. It could have come off as insulting, but like Shonda said, it just showed he loved Izzie so much, he even loved her flaws.
Same thing with Izzie. George's stubborness annoys her sometimes but sh loves him because of it anyhow.
They know each other so well, and they have fought many times, but they could never stay mad at each other.
George got angry at her when she told his dad about Burke and said a nasty thing about Denny. But then he apologized and she said she would forgive him tomorrow, and she ate spaghetti on his laps.
I love how at ease they are together. They don't have to try. The chemistry is just there.
I love how flirty they can be too, like when they flirted in the hall and did the cutest nose kiss, and Izzie looked down at his lips like she wanted to devour him.
She did the same thing in season 2 when Alex couldn't get it up and she and George started to flirt in the kitchen. That is when I fell for them, the chemistry was so hot, way hotter than any couple on this show, and I found myself yelling kiss, kiss.
They have amazing chemistry. Not just friendship chemistry and tender chemistry and romantic chemistry but hot sex chemistry too. That love scene they had. Their 20 seconds to me beats any long sex scene this show ever had.
Heck their one minute in the linen closet is hotter than anything ever shown on this show.
What I love too is that they are not dysfunctional an abusive like most of the couples on this show. They are a sane, funny, touching, beautiful couple with crazy tender sexy chemistry that know each other and out and are best friends as well as lovers.
George knew she was sick just by spending a very few moments with her. Izzie knew how much George worked harder than anyone even though they hadn't spend time together in so long. Me thinks she checked up on him.
They are everything a real couple should be and their love is what everyone would want to find.
Their connection goes beyond words and best of all, they are never ever boring unlike so many other couples.

as much as i love derek and meredith, i would have to say that my favorite couple is alex and izzie. because even though they can seem like complete opposites, i think they're really good for each other. they have both been through a lot. izzie really makes alex a better person, and alex opens up to her, which he doesn't do to anyone else. i also love watching them interact because they're cute, funny, and have great chemistry.

Definetly, Merideth and Derek. They are so perfect for each other, and yet they still have their problems like a real relationship! I want them to have a fairytale ending. My favorite moment of theirs was when Derek had to choose between Addison and Meredith, when she said the quote, "pick me, choose me, love me!" i dont even know how many times i've watched that over and over. Mer and Der keep the show going, seriously! Plus, Derek is the hottest! :]]

Meredith and Derek. They are so perfect for each other. Despite eveything they been through they always find it back in each other arms, their love is so stong.
