how are you all keeping. all good here.
hi to gloria, hafsa, rose and belgian grey.
sorry i havent been on in such a long time. my time is just so taken up with the kids at the moment. at least they are all now on their summer holidays from school. no more school runs until september. yipee
well the weather here has only been fantastic for the past month. i am developing a lovely colour!!! no need for false tan for the first time in years. do you remember our last 2 summers, complete wash-outs .... 50 / 60 days of rain in a row.
our trip to the states was brilliant. kids first time in states and they loved it. we drove from LA, (drove past patrick dempseys house!!!! the front hedge is growing, much more difficult to see in than it was when i passed it 2 year ago!!!), then we drove onto vegas, kids favourite place on trip, did tour of hoover dam, brilliant, then onto grand canyon, then we drove to memphis, stopping in albequerque, amarillo, and el reno in oklahoma. memphis was my favourite place, we stayed in heartbreak hotel and visited gracelands, sun studios. the food was just divine. then the longest drive of all, from memphis to chicago in one day!!!! was glad to ditch the car and spend last 3 days wandering around chicago. i heard it was windy, but really i had to see it to believe it. unbelievable!!! cant wait for next trip, will have to start saving. of course the shopping was only fantastic!!!! loved loved loved it!!! we had to buy another large suitcase in filenes basement in chicago the day we flew home!!!
anyway grey's. ive seen them all. yes, enjoyed them, especially the last 3 episodes. would have to compliment izzie on her acting. have never been a big fan of katherine heigl, but her acting was just incredible. sounds like she might be back next season??? didn't alex play his part well.
poor george, i will miss him. i always liked george, and never found the izzie/george storyline objectionable. he was so absent this season though that i dont think his loss will really impact on the show. its such a shame. in the early seasons he was so great to watch.
dont really get the cristina / owen storyline. its too deep for me. they dont really say a lot do they. much preferred burke/cristina.
callie / arizona, yeah yeah yeah, boring. just so not interested. arizona a great actress though and plays the part well in my opinion.
sloan / lexie, i think they are made for each other. he is just smitten with her. who would have ever thought he could be tamed by a woman!!!
bailey is leaving tucker. personally i feel sorry for tucker. i certainly would not like to be raising a child and never seeing my partner and not knowing when i would see them. i would become very resentful.
the interns are absent!!!! thank god, not an interesting one among them, apart from lexie of course.
hope i havent forgotten anyone apart from the obvious

what a pathetic marriage, not even legal or binding. when are we going to get our happy ending. personally i feel i have invested so much in their relationship, the least i deserve is a happy ending. not a few vows written on a sticky, just pathetic!!! what an anti climax!!!
ok, thats my rant over.
i'll try not to leave it so long next time. what you all up to. any news???

so happy to hear from you......you were dearly missed.Wow you sure had fun.......good for you and the kids. I would love to visit the states one day.
You are so right about merder, i have also invested so much in their r/ship......the sticky thing is kind of weird but definatel something mer will do...oh well atleast its better than nothing. Maybe they will do the big wedding next season.
How sad is the whole michael jackson's dead?........and i was so looking forward to his london concert.

yes, very sad about michael jackson. his music was just brilliant. i had posters of him on my bedroom wall when i was a child when he was black with a big afro!!! the oxygen tank he slept in didn't prolong his life anyway!!! no doubt there will be all sorts of scandals and allegations coming out of the woodwork about him now. poor michael, may he rest in peace.
did you have tickets for one of his concerts? i tried to get tickets but they were sold out like hot cakes. we went to see beyonce a few weeks ago. she was brilliant. saw shayne ward last week, not great. going to see kanye west in a few weeks and pussycat dolls aswell. mc fly doing support to pussycat dolls, thats what swung it for me. i just love them!!!
do you watch private practice. season 2 just started over here, in place of grey's. missed it though. did you watch the season finale of desperate housewives. it was really good. i wonder who mike married, susan i hope, it was a good cliff hanger.
hope you all having a nice weekend, we went to the zoo earlier, it was lovely, and yes, the sun is still shining!!!

It's summer and I've been busy. Hope all is well with you all. If I'm not mistaken July is Dinofigg's BD. I just can't remember the date.
So Dinofigg HAPPY BD.!!! Will you be traveling during your BD??? Have a wonderful time what ever your plans!!! We miss you.

Irish did you know that the Dempsey's have moved??? They bought a house in a gated community in Brentwood . They are close o the Brentwood Golf Club, near Balfour Rd.
The neighborhood is considered to be a celebrity neighborhood.
They had not sold their old house as of june. It may be sold by now. The markets are slow right now for sellers. They had been looking for over a year, and then they found this one. The sellers had dropped the price of the house earlier this year.
Irish, I love the pussycat dolls, don't like Kanye West.
I've been playing Michael Jackson music everyday since he died. I was so numb for a few days after I heard. I have always loved him and his music. For me the MUSIC HAS DIED. His music will live on FOREVER AND EVER!!!!
Hafsa how are you doing?? Any travel plans this summer?

She says she will return in Sept for Greys.

Just checking in. Spoke with Rose by e-mail, She is fine and excited about Greys next month. She will be happy to get back here and chat next month.
I'm still very happy and mellow about Greys. The on;y thing I miss about Greys now is Cristina/Owen!!! I miss Sandra Oh SOoo MUCH!!!
Really looking forward to seeing her next month.
So Dinofigg is in Europe having a wonderful time. I knew she would fall in love with Italy!!! I'm so happy for her.
I hope she celebrated her BD while there.

I must say that it's good to finally be among Burke and Cristina fans who are still active. I hope I can express my love of the B/C pairing here without getting verbally bashed or something to that extent.
Eventhough I know its been 2 years since IW has been let go/ Burke left us, I still miss him so much, its hurts. I have to admit though, that I was pleasantly surprised to find that I actually enjoyed KH aka Izzie's performance last season. I liked her scenes during the last few episodes because they were so funny and I was actually sad to find her and George flatlining. I honestly thought that I wouldn't have cared. Anyway, I can't say that I like the Owen/Cristina pairing.I don't really like Owen Hunt and I just cannot wrap my head around the drastic change in Cristina. I am a die hard Burke/Cristina fan.
That said, do any of you guys still habour the slightest hope that IW/Burke will come back? How would you feel if he does?Sorry if this has been asked before. I'm new. =D
