HI Pschyrembel--you are so right. Patrick's ability to communicate emotion with his eyes is obviously a huge reason why he makes so many of us weak in the knees! In the bar scene he is looking at Meredith waiting for her answer. His look is saying, I need you, I cannot live without you, I will die if I lose you. That is my best translation of those beautiful eyes in that scene.

Its crazy to think that for almost 15 years Patrick Dempsey was a struggling actor. He was in a lot of diff shows, but nothing like GA. He is amazing and amazing things happen to those who wait. I was a lil kid in the 80's and I watched Loverboy and Can't buy me love and still love those movies and watch them frequently...for me its weird to see those movies then watch Grey's Anatomy. its really funny seperating the 2 and see how far PD acting abilities have come a long way! He was such a lil guy, with crazy quirks....now he is a MAN! A rugged beautiful MAN!

Yeah he is gorgeous! I love him too! I went to the movies last thursday and I've seen PD's new movie, Freedom Writers. Did anyone see it? He had a small part in it, not enough for my liking! But it was really weird watching him kiss Hilary Swank instead of Ellen!

i haven't seen FREEDOM WRITERS yet but i think it would be weird seein doctor McDreamy kissin someone other than Meredith. when i saw SWEET HOME ALABAMA before GA was aired i liked him with reese witherspoon but now, whenever i watch it, i just find it wrong!

Well, in Sweet Home Alabama I would have chosen Andrew (PD)! ;-) I liked him much better than the other guy... (OK, Andrew's mother was a pain in the a§§...) What I liked about the movie was that the rich, handsome guy who she was supposed to marry actually was likeable! In those movies it's very often that this guy's slick and arrogant and it's obvious that she should take the poor, but nice fellow. When I bought the DVD I hoped that the "alternative ending" was her marrying Andrew - that would have been my "happy ending"! ;-)

i so agree, i love that movie, but i would so have picked andrew. jake was hot but not near as sexy and thoughtful as andrew.

*lol* Sorry, but I always have to laugh when I hear about the fuzz that's being made about his hair! :D I hope you can stand waiting till November - Enchanted won't be released sooner than that!
