Completely agree with ou merderforlife. That has had me worried also. Firsly why would she just tell us, she didn't even really hit that an engagement was going to happen in elevator love letter. Secondly when PD was on the view he said that mer and der were going to have a union at the end of the season. Also all the spoilers for ausiello have said that it won't be a mer/der wedding. And it also says that it takes place on their wedding day, but I mean something could happen to prevent them being the one who gets married.
One can always hope though, seeing as there are wedding dresses in the next episode. Why do they need to take a break? I want the new episode now..

I agree with both of you- it is highly suspect...
But...surely they can't call off another Grey's wedding on the wedding day? Surely!? (Please, someone tell me I am right so I can stop freaking out!)
Unless something happens on the wedding day that would make them postpone it...like something big. But then that something big will likely be something very bad and I don't know if I can deal with something else really bad...
Omg. I *need* to stop thinking about this. My boyfriend is seriously concerned about my mental wellbeing of late...I have been far too focused on Grey's and not enough on real life things. It isn't healthy at all.

Wordsmith, I know what you mean. Grey's has embedded itself in my brain. Tell your boyfriend to hang in there, the season is almost over!!
Maybe Thatcher appears, causing a scene. Who knows, but it will be interesting.

If Thatcher of all people stopped their wedding, I swear, I will be THROWING things! But I quite like the theory because we know he is making an appearance and I can't imagine Meredith and Derek inviting him to the wedding...
Lol I keep telling my boyfriend the season is nearly over but it doesn't really console him. The poor guy hates the show- he is a doctor and he just sits there and nit picks on every bit of it ("That wouldn't really happen like that" "You really think surgical interns would be running labs" etc etc) so he gets kicked out of the room whenever Grey's is on. He just cannot fathom that I like the show and he is constantly trying to give me a million reasons why it is bad television. Watching medical shows in house of doctors (my Dad is a doctor too) is impossible...

If something were to go wrong with the wedding I think it will involve Izzie, but hopefully nothing goes wrong and they get married and all this worrying will have been for nothing

I'm so happy! it's rthe best proposal ever, but I agree with you I don't think it will be really easy. Always sth hapen when Merder are together and happy ¬¬
