If we had to wait all summer as in there is a cliffhanger at the wedding in the season final, I'm pretty sure I will fly from Australia to LA and serch constantly for Shonda until I find her and demand that she show me the episode right then, otherwise I may go a little crazy (well more crazy, as I would already have to be crazy to spend all my money and go on a 16 hour flight in the first place)

as I said before it is too early for them to get married...yes I know the series was born 4 years ago in 2005 but only a year and a half had passed since that moment in the actual show......and..though Mer is Healed and everything there are still some things not yet resolved:
1) her father
2) the adventures of Death and Die+who is Sadies' father?
3)Shonda said that reading her mothers journals will have consequences on Mer(I don't think No. 12 was that much of a shocker). So ...?
4)how can someone get married when their friend has stage 4 metastatic cancer...:|:| (that's just SICK and selfish)
5) Der just had a nervous breakdown..... they could explore that more....
The show will have another 2 seasons. If they get married now where will all the drama be???? I want for everybody to be happy, alive and not to leave the show, as for MerDer I want them together for ever, but not too soon...

Lol I keep telling my boyfriend the season is nearly over but it doesn't really console him. The poor guy hates the show- he is a doctor and he just sits there and nit picks on every bit of it ("That wouldn't really happen like that" "You really think surgical interns would be running labs" etc etc) so he gets kicked out of the room whenever Grey's is on. He just cannot fathom that I like the show and he is constantly trying to give me a million reasons why it is bad television. Watching medical shows in house of doctors (my Dad is a doctor too) is impossible..."

We are allowed to hope that there is a wedding soon. It may or may not happen - and Izzie wants there to be a wedding, if you've seen her room it is covered in wedding things for mer. Secondly - Sadie is not coming back, I don't think that has anything to do with anything. And Thatcher is coming back, but that wouldn't stop mer from marrying the man she loves. And thirdly, her boyfriend is allowed to have his own opinion about the show. I love grey's but its not 100% accurate.

Thank you emmalovesgreys! And yes. We can hope there is a wedding. Meredith has gone through so much in her life that she deserves a little happiness. I get that the shows really only been 1 and 1/2 years but if their relationship can go through so much, and they still love each other than I think that no, it's not too soon.
Like emmalovesgreys said, everything says that Izzy throws herself in to planning Meredith and Derek's wedding and being the bright and happy person she is she loves it!!
Sadie is no longer a problem. Who cares who her dad is? Sure, I'd like to know, but whatever.
In the pics it looks like Thatcher is apologizing not antagonizing. The only time he has ever really been mean to Meredith since he came back into her life is after HIS WIFE DIED he slapped her(not that I think that's okay but he was grieving he wouldn't have done it if he was okay). And when he was drunk. He liked Derek when they met. There is no reason he is standing in the way of that wedding.
As for the journals it seems like they've been buried.
Derek did just have a break down. And Meredith was there for him. And he was already subjected to the SGH rumor mill. What more do you want???
Yeah... just like wrote a book...

ew, i will be so mad if thats true. i really dont think thats fair to all of us merder fans. i dont have anything against cristina and owen but they definately shouldnt get married before meredith and derek.
