- Shades I really hope you are right! After the preview of next weeks show DER meeting someone in a bar, I am not sooo freaking sure. All I know is that there is going to be some cliffhanger that has to do with MERDER and I don't think I will make it 4 months. - i think they are.. which sucks. friends was a comedy. this is everything all rolled into one amazing show. i cant stand to see merder apart. with ross and rachel, it wasnt such a heartbreak. but thisis just crazy, i cant go thru like 3 more seasons of back and forth. ive watched the locker room scene from the finale over and over. and i get why she didnt confess her undying love and tell him she cant leave him either. she said "i have to make sure she gets married" she needed to see a sign that people like her and cris can have their happy endings before she could promise him anything. yea its a little warped, dark and twisty mer.Posted 5/22/2007 1:00:00 AM #
- VERY DARK AND TWISTY MER, but I don't really blame her either. I can't belive I am on the fence about this. I can't and won't decide who is right here. I think both sides have valid reasons for what they do and feel. Mer has been through ungodly amount of emotional turmoil over these past few months. She lost her Mother, her fake mom, and her dad all over again. She has NO family! I can't imagine that. I would have abondenment issues tooo! So I think she feels like Love isn't suppose to work and can't have a place in her life...cause if it didn't work for anyone else in her life or Cristina why would it work for her. ON THE OTHER HAND Der has been through alot too and soooo much we don't even know about yet. He has issues too about letting people get too close. In the beginning he seemed very stand-offish, and once he did get to know Mer he started pushing her away. I think he is scared because this is really the first time he has been inlove and he doesn't know how to act. - der has been thru alot. but after going over it in my mind in understand why she said 'i cant' in the locker room. she said, i have to make sure she gets married. meaning, once cris is married, her faith would be restored. but, it didnt happen. so she is going to have to find a way to restore her faith on her own, or live a very lonely life.Posted 5/25/2007 1:00:00 AM #
