Why do you say that Mer doesnt want to be happy? Yeah, shes not happy anymore now that Der broke her heart, but that isnt her fault, she deserves some sympathy and the she is only getting that from the interns: George: hes gonna give sympathy becuz he loves her. Izzie: Well, shes kinda not giving sympathy anymore becuz she needs some herself. Alex: no sypathy there Christina: we all think she doesnt have any heart but she does like everytime Der tries to speak to Mer Christina gets in his way becuz she knows that it will just break another piece of her heart. i totally agree..its not merediths fault that she keeps getting heartbroken...but i think (i hope) for at least a little it'll be easy b/c she's with derek. Obviously Derek and Mer are going to end up together..they are the two main characters on the show..and like with any show...their "soulmates" *barf*...and "belong" together. I, personally find Meredith pretty pathetic myself...going after a married man who continues to break her heart...she needs to have a little pride and walk away from him with some dignity..and Addison is obviously too much of a woman for Derek....he never deserved her either...the whole reason she cheated on him in the first place is because he was absent from the relationship...but Addison is moving on and accepting that the relationship is over..yet Meredith keeps following him around like a lost puppy.Posted 10/17/2006 1:00:00 AM #

You are so right about the soulmate thing and addy was not enoth women for der because if she was she would have confronted derek sooner and the cheating would have never happen and shes only getting over it because she know she has no chance. Hers has come and gone and she has blown it. Der and mer are just ment to be.
