Yea, im still trying to figure out why cristina was insistent on Burke not telling anyone. I know that Mer and Cris are best friends and they consider each other their sisters, but I don't see Mer getting upset because she wasn't the first to know about the engagement? Any thoughts?

OMG that was intense. Of course, Meredith will not drown to death. She just can't, can she? She's the star of the show and all that. About Burke and Cristina, I hope they didn't argue about who will tell their friends first about the engagement. I mean, they're just newly engaged, and now they're arguing again?

Meredith would be thrilled for Cristina that's why I don't understand why she wouldn't tell her Burke had the cutest smile on his face when he was talking to Derek he was so happy but then Cristina had to ruin it she should have just let it go it's really no big deal that Meredith didn't find out first. Izzie is too possessive of George she is so jealous of Callie and I'm glad he called her condescending. Meredith and Cristina don't live together and their both women so it's different. I hope they rescue Meredith next episode it doesn't need to be dragged out and I hope Cristina and Burke make up.

Yes I loved that scene with "you are confiding in me"...the smile on Burke's face was so sweet when he told about their engagement. I do understand why Cristina did not want to share such important news when Meredith was in such a crabby mood, I have been there! And yes Izzie is way too possessive of George, they are almost making it look like she has feelings for him. George is completely different now from Season One George. I love the new, confident, assertive George.

I feel bad for Burke because he obviously wants to tell everyone that he and Cristina are engaged, but Cristina insists not to tell anyone YET until she tells Meredith - which she hasn't done yet. I hope Burke stays confident with Cristina. Seriously, Burke commenting something like why does Cristina act as if their engagement is some kind of a disaster is not a good thing, is it? But I love it when Cristina held his hand. They were so cute. Where's Bangfan and Burke Backer?

Rose I totally agree her reaction is one of jealousy and possessiveness I guess that's why she ate everything out of the refrigerator including the tub of butter because everyone is paired up with someone except her. With our favorite couple it's always 1 step forward 2 steps back. As long as they stay committed and get married I'll be happy. I was just so happy from the last couple episodes with them now I'm a little uncertain Burke has to continue to have faith in her. I mean she put her career on the line and she told him she's in it for the long haul. I want them engaged and happy and having those 2 overbearing mothers driving Cristina crazy.

Hey everyone! and Rose I totally agree with you on the whole Cristina not telling Mer thing, mer was just in too much of a bad mood and maybe Cristina thought she would not be happy for her or something, but it just wasn't the right time, but i totally looove that scene when Cristina has this little smirk on her face and she looked sooo happy! in the locker room and shes looking at Mer and mer is like what?! lol and Cristinas like fine then I won't tell you! lol and then Cristina tries to tell her when they are going into the ambulance and Cris says Mer i have news and Mer was like I hope ur not pregnant again! so that was totally not the right time either, but I think hopefully after they find Mer which I am hoping they totally do cause the show would be losing its main character and it would totally not be the same without her, I think Cristina will tell her cause in the previews for next week Cristina says to izzie wheres meredith?! and then I think she wants to tell her then, but Izzie hugs Cristina in the locker room in a different scene so I wonder whats going on, maybe they can't find mer at that point, and its so weird to see izzie hugging cristina cause no one can usually touch cristina, except for Burke of course but none of her friends hug her not even when she lost the baby they couldn't even touch her when she was crying, so this must be some huge shocking news to her! But Mer will be ok, she has to be ok the show wouldn't be the same without her! But I hope Cristina tells her next episode! cause Mer will be totally happy for her! And about Izzie and George she is waay to possesive for him! I mean just cause she doesn't like Callie shes all like you can always come back home, and live with me! like George said its like she needs to take care of him or something, but really hes an adult! and shes jelous of Callie to cause now Izzie isn't the only girl in Georges life, and she can't take care of him anymore. And I totally agree with Cadiex! I just want to see Burke and Cristina engaged, and eventually happily married! they have been through way too much with each other and they need to be happy again! but I think they are Cristinas face was soo cute when she was trying to tell mer that her and Burke were engaged. But I don't know I think Burke still has faith in her because the last episode he told her she was the best, and then in this episode he wanted her to go and check on his surgical heart patients and basically run his floor, I know he told her to go to the pit after but he thinks she can handle a whole floor of people on his cardiac wing, so I think he still has faith in her, well at least I hope so! Ok have been talking way too much! lol

Cadiex and Burktina Forever, agree with you both 100%! Cristina was SO cute peeking out from behind her locker! I am sure she was disapointed that Meredith was in no mood to be happy for her. For Cristina to take the big step of sharing something important about her life, she would naturally want it to be special. About Izzie--I didn't feel her jealousy in this episode as much as her seeming very lost and unsure of herself. Apparently mothering George was making her feel needed, in the months after Denny died. I could feel her emptiness when she looked at his vacant room. I felt sorry for her, but George has grown up now, and that does happen at times with very dependent type of people, when they have life experiences that challenge them. I think his father's death really made George a man.

Hey rose! you make a good point about Izzie, I didn't feel she was jelous in the last episode, but in the one before that wishin and hopin she was totally jelous! and now maybe she feels like she has nobody cause George is gone and denny died, and its not like her mer and Cristina are really close I mean not as close as her and george are, and Cristina and Mer have a much stronger friendship then with Izzie, so i guess in a way you kind of feel sorry for her cause she can't look out for George anymore and dennys gone and her and alex don't seem to be going anywhere soon I mean getting back together, So she probably feels pretty depressed right now.
