Hey everyone==I hope you try not to get too upset over this spoiler(?) about Burke & Cristina getting in a fight. For one thing, I have read alot of spoilers and some of them later say "that was apparently dropped from the storyline". And if it is true, I have to say this. After reading Shonda's writers blog this week, I realized that Shonda LOVES dark & twisty. You can read it between the lines from her loud & clear. She likes some happy times for balance, but I do believe the gal thrives on conflict. It made me wake up and stop wishin & hopin for happily ever after on GA. I don't believe we are ever gonna get that for our favorite couples on this show. BUT its still a great show and keeps us riveted to our seats! For me, I am going to just expect the worst, and when nice things come along it will be an unexpected delight.Posted 2/11/2007 1:00:00 AM #

hi guys, new to this board. Let me just say...I love Bang! I am an experienced married mother of 3 kids and Im telling you that couple is the most real I have ever seen on any show. Besides that, I think Burke (Dr.Burke, sorry) is so damm hot and sexy. I love his character. I really don't think we will see a lot of Bang action this coming Thursday. Because really the storyline is not about them, its about Mer. I do think, because of the tittle of the epi, that Mer will be in some type of life threatening sutuation (coma) and that a miracle will occur at the end of that episode or the 3rd one which has something like that in the tittle as well. Burke doesnt believe in odds. He believes in prayer, he's spiritual. And I think Cristina will be confronting those issues. Shonda also mentioned that Cristina feels she's disappearing ever since she accepted Burke's proposal. All these things I believe will have a happy resolution but we will not see any of that until the last epi of the arc. I literally cannot wait for that. After that they will go into hiatus for the month of March. And then we will hopefully have our wedding by the end of the season!!Posted 2/11/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Took quite a while to register again; do hope that Burke Backer joins soon. I really miss her inputs. As to our fave couple, I would really want the writers to elevate the burke/yang conflict in to a certain level of maturity and intelligence. My God, they're brilliant professionals, so this "who told first about the engagement" shouldn't be source of major blow-up. The usual Burke/Yang sexy, silly and witty repartee, YES, to that because this is what makes them so lovable and hot! Agree, let's turn this section another burke/yang wonderful world. Hey everyone! and Burke Backer your back! yay lol And about the Burktina fight that is possibly coming up in the next episode I don't think it can be as huge as the blow up fight they had in from a whisper to a scream, they had that HUGE fight in the on call room and in the stairwell, and then thats when they stopped talking, I really am hoping that there is nothing huger then that episode for Burke and Cristina I mean in them having a fight like that, I really don't want them to be unhappy again like they were, but I don't think that is going to happen cause I mean like Cristina said shes in it for the long haul, she wants to marry Burke and he wants to marry her and yeah of course they have all their ups and downs but I think no matter what kind of fight they have they are always still there for each other, i mean they could have just broke up when they weren't speaking but no cristina stayed with Burke even stayed in his hospital room when they weren't talking, and him the same when she lost the baby he didn't have to get back together with her but he did and he stuck by her through everything. So I think that even if they have huge blow up fights all the time in the end they still love each other and have those cute little scenes between them even if its just something they say to eachother. I am thinking the fight might be about how they can't find mer maybe Burke tries to comfort her and shes too freaked out and gets mad or something, but I don't think Shonda would put them through what they just went through again. Hey everyone. new here and I am a huge burketina fan.They rock!!!However, the spoiler got me worried!!!It says that they have a blow-up fight about the announcement.I am thinking that one of them might call off the engagement and then they will get back together on the next episode which is called some sort of miracle...(the meredith situation will open christina's eyes...). I don't think they will call off their engagment, they have been through too much to do that they will probably just have a fight and then make up later like they usually do, I don't think a fight between them can be as huge as it was in from a whisper to a scream they had a huge blow up in the on call room and thats when they stopped talking to each other, I think they realized that they love each other alot, and they won't break off their engagment, well at least i hope not! lolPosted 2/11/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I dont think that theyll call off the engagement. I just thought and Hoped that they would be happy for a while, telling everyone about their engagement (but I guess that they wouldnt be Bang if they were agreeing on everything) Welcome to all you new posters!!!! I agree it totally wouldn't be Bang if they didn't have their ups and downs! lol i wish they could have been happy for awhile to! but I think they are happy together they just fight about their differences alot, but they make such a perfect couple cause they understand each other so much.Posted 2/11/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Burktina Forever--it wasn't in the on call room, or the stairwell, that Burke & Cristina stopped speaking to each other. It was when he went in to tell Chief and found her already there, and then later shut the door in her face.Posted 2/12/2007 1:00:00 AM #
