I hope the writers do not cut Addison at this time because she doesnt have a relationship going--Alex is cute but he is too young for her--she fits better with an attending or a resident--even though she is not without blame in this show she has shown herself to be classy

I agree with addiefan. She is funny, smart, competent and deserves a real relationship. I kind of think she is going to be pregnant and there will be the dilemma of who is the father, Mark or Derek. We know she had sex with both of them. They have to bring Mark back into the story somehow. Right now he is just out there being handsome, but a real jerk. His best line so far has been, "This is awkward." I like his friendship with Meredith, but can't believe the writers would go there after the whole Finn/Derek/Meredith and can we add Addison/Derek/Meredith triangles. I'm sure they brought him on as a full time member of the cast for some reason, though. I think once the crisis with Burke and Cristina is past and they are beginning to rebuild their relationship the focus will shift to Addison and Mark. I'm not really crazy about the idea of Alex and Addison for the same reasons others have stated. I think Alex may be a bit too young for her and I really thing two attendings with two interns is enough. Plus, I honestly think Alex and Izzie were great together and frankly resented Denny a little bit because he got in the way. Gosh, I hope that doesn't make the Denny fans angry. He was awesome, just not right for Izzie to me. So maybe an Addison/Alex fling to get Izzie and Mark's attention would be nice.

I totally agree with Burke BAcker about this. The writers have signed Eric Dane for the season for a reason so I think they should resurrect his character and make him more likeable. That would pave the way for some interesting Mark/Addie/Der story lines. Addie and Der had a strong marriage at one time and I think Addie deserves better treatment from Der. After all he was a jerk to her when he supposedly was trying to keep their marriage together.
