I like Callie a lot, she does not take a lot of crap from the other girls which is refreshing. She also loves George, which is great and goes a long way. The sudden wedding thing was a shocker, but it happens. I think it is interesting because both she and George have walked away - literally and figuratively - in the past when things have gotten rough and now they cannot. I am looking forward to seeing how this develops, but it is definitely a background SL for sweeps due to the ferry thing.

I hope they have an episode where Callie sings. Sara Ramirez has an AMAZING voice. You know she won a Tony award? What do you think Callie's secret is? I think it is she come from a really wealthy or predominant family or something, which could cause tention between George and her because he comes from a trucker and teacher family.

I don't get why people don't like Callie. She may be a little different, but she is NOT as judgemental as the others, nor does she have incredibly high standards. Look how she fought for George for the longest time, and we don't really even know if he's over Meredith yet. She is a STRONG woman and I love her character.

Also, we need some background for Callie. We hardly know anything about her. I mean, the middle name was like a Godsend

I think they are cute together and I hope they all proove everyone wrong on Grey's, especially Izzy. She just is NOT nice about this whole thing!

I love Callie! I too think her secret is going to reveal that she is very wealthy. And I think it says somewhere on the homepage that Hector Elonzo (I may have the name wrong) is going to guest-star as her father.
