well some people just don't like them. meredith is a self-absorbed pessimist who always whines. okay so the show is named after her, but it doesn't have to revovle around her. the other characters' story lines are always in the back and "merder" is brought up front. I honestly would be estatic if ellen pompeo left the show and I wouldn't care much if patrick dempsey either. honestly people must be blind because he isn't at all dreamy, and most people must have forgotten what he looked like in the 80s. merder is gag-worthy and annoying and makes me want to throw up when I see it. but everyone has their own opinion and most people like them so I guess I have to deal with it. I VERY MUCH prefer addie though. she and callie are my favorite characters and I would choose addison over meredith any day. she is absolutely amazing, and yes it is humanly possible to hate MerDer.

^ I agree on every word you wrote there iloveaddie&callie! F I N A L L Y someone on my side. Yes, it's actually humanly possible to hate MerDer. They're just so.. I don't even no the right words.. predictable? Addie and Derek was waaaay better, gosh, I really miss it.

I don't like MerDer either, never be a fan of them since season 1. I don't want throw anything bad on them, they are good for many ppl, but I just don't like them.

I have to say, that I love addison as a person, I was so upset when she left the show, however, her and derek did not work. The whole time they were together, he was pining for meredith. He was upset at not being with her and couldn't get over it. Addison cheated on derek, their relationship just didn't work and wouldn't have worked because derek was in love with meredith. But saying that, I am a bit biased, I love mer and derek together, they make the show in my opinion.

I love the "Mexie" or "Slexie" relationship I really think that Lexie has helped Sloan be "better" but then again all Sloan lovers including me will miss his badness ;]

1) Owen and Cristina! they are the ones that are keeping me in the show after Burke left!
2) Cristina and Burke
3) Cristina's friendship with Meredith - "Bridezilla!!!"
4) I like Mark and Callie together. Not Mark and Lexie, sorry...
5) Alex and Izzie. They just kinda grew in me.
I don't have any feelings for MerDer seriously. I neither like nor dislike this couple.
But till now I dislike the idea of Callie turning into a les. it doesn't work for me, sorry ><
