Clearing Old Posts

   Is there any way to mark, all at once, all of the posts 'read'? When you make an account/return from a long absense all of the pages on all of the threads are marked with a red flag. You either have to click on every single one (of which there are several hundreds) or just guess whether or not there is a new relevant post up.

   when you go into a thread the posts you haven't read will be in read at the top....like for example on this one "clearing old posts" will be in red

   I know, but when you return after an abesense or sign up all of them are marked unread, meaning on some boards, every topic is marked as unread- some of which have topics going back to eight pages.
