2 months later?????

   In a recent interview, Jesse Williams stated that the season 7 premiere takes place about 2 months after the shooting, to give everyone time to recover.

   My question is: Don't they leave out way too much by skipping so much time? At this point, Derek and Alex will basically have recovered, and we don't get to watch Mer be the caring wife and friend. Plus, I always thought Meredith would wait a few weeks before telling Derek everything, but not a few months...unless we don't get to watch her tell him! Also, if Andrew Perkins is only being introduced at the beginning of the season, that means they've gone 2 months without therapy, and now they're defintely all dark and twisty.

   Who agrees that Shonda's skipping WAY too much time here? Who else is sad because we don't get to watch Derek and Meredith's reunion after the shooting????????

   Oh, and in the interview that TV Fanatic linked to, I'm almost positive Williams said that Jackson and April move into the house, but I couldn't tell if that was literal or figurative.    I'm kinda glad there is at least some time jump i mean the show is about the running of a hospital and i think it would be kinda lost without the element of the surgeries and patients. So i'm glad that the hospital should be up and running at this point. Especially because i think this is the year they specialise.

   After so much maturing in the last few seasons i really hope Shonda won't turn Mer back into the person refusing to share with Derek but i know we can't miss the scene when mer tells der.

   Maybe their new house is ready and meredith lets Jackson and April move in when they leave?

   and maybe they have been in therapy for the first two months its just not on screen til the premiere.
