   Now here’s a blind item you don’t see every day: An hour drama is contemplating making one of its male leads HIV-positive.

   If producers go for it, the story has the potential to be tremendously groundbreaking — à la General Hospital‘s long-infected and (knock wood) healthy lady doc, Robin. But…

   What? There’s always a “but,” right? There’s still a chance the powers that be will go with Plan B and give the guy a scare rather than a positive diagnosis. Plan C — scrapping the story entirely — is also a possibility.

   Regardless, we’ll find out around November, my source says, when the plot thickens — or doesn’t. One thing’s for sure, though: You will be watching. On an Aushole popularity scale, the show is about a 6.7.

   So, guesses? The message board below is all yours. (Hint: I’m not talking about Saul on Brothers & Sisters.)

   The lead male character in GA is Derek. And he's out. If GA I was thinking Mark, he will be possibility but I hope not =/! (he's not a lead male)

   In PP who will be a possibility?

   I don't think is Grey, because Ausiello would've said popular one hour drama show and he didn't. It also says one of its male leads.

   If it is Grey's I don't think is Derek, Alex, Owen, Richard, or Mark. I would think Jackson.

   This sound to me like PrP than Greys', maybe neither.

   Yeah, it doesn't sound like Grey's but it sounds a little bit like SR.

   Cooper? The guy has been with more questionable women than Mark.

   A few seasons ago on House, an HIV-positive patient coughed blood into a doctor's eye. One of the male leads on Grey's could catch it through something similar. I don't think it would be Derek or Alex, because they've already had near-death experiences, but either Owen or Mark would be interesting: Cristina or Lexie would freak out.

   Wait, here's an idea: Mark thinks he may have gotten it from a patient, and Lexie finally chooses him because she's scared for him.
