In the September 23 premiere, scenes will flash back to post-trauma therapy sessions held a few weeks after the shootings, then jump ahead about two months. Derek (Patrick Dempsey) is released from the hospital, still unaware of Meredith's pregnancy and miscarriage. "I think he'll be devastated," says Patrick. "Seeing how quick life can be, I think they'll want to have a child even more. Why not create a life before you lose your own?" To that end, Derek calls a staff meeting to announce he never enjoyed being chief and is returning the reins to Dr. Webber. "He's still in mourning over the loss of the staffers [in the shoot-out] and feels responsible, which is why he steps down," adds Patrick. "It's much better having the dynamic the way it was."Teddy's New Guy
With the Owen/Cristina/Teddy love triangle over, Teddy (Kim Raver) won't waste any time cuddling up to the hospital's new trauma counselor, Dr. Andrew Perkins (James Tupper). "I make out with him in Episode 1," says a tickled Kim. "It was just like it was with Kiefer [Sutherland] on 24, where we met and had to kiss. Teddy's going to wonder if she's feeling so good in the relationship just because he's a therapist."They Do! But Who?
One of these couples gets engaged and married in the premiere. Try to figure out who, based on these clues from the cast. And look for at least one or two of the parents of the betrothed to turn up for the nuptials.Callie and Arizona?
"The relationship takes the steps you take as you get deeper involved with someone," hints Sara Ramirez (Callie). "But Callie's been married, so that could pose an issue." Adds Jessica Capshaw (Arizona), "I don't see Arizona entering into anything that's not ironclad."Alex and Lexie?
Lexie suffered a breakdown and big sis Meredith is helping her cope. Alex opted to keep his near-fatal bullet inside his chest "to show off to the girls like a third nipple," says Justin Chambers (Alex). They're hardly a couple ready for marriage, though Justin says Alex would marry Lexie if he "knocked her up."Owen and Cristina?
"They definitely take it to the next level," teases Kevin McKidd (Owen). "The wedding could easily be them." But Cristina will be dealing with post-traumatic stress — not a good time to go dress shopping. "They've been through a huge amount in two seasons," notes Kevin, "and I think Cristina felt burned by her last wedding [to Burke]."

I have only one question, Does Derek finds out about the miscarriage in the premiere? becaue I don't see the need to prolong the not telling Derek about the miscarriage for more than one episode. It would be quite pissed seeing Meredith after all the her growth, not telling Derek this for more than one episode.

I hope Derek finds out soon about the baby. It seems he will be having a very hard time during the SP.
My bet is that Calzona is getting married. Wasn't there a spoiler that said that Callie was going to ask an important question to Arizona?
Oh, and if Lexie is really pregnant...I just may yell. But then again, she will be in Psych for some time, so I'm cool with that. Although not cool with Meredith being her rock instead of her being Derek's.
Yada yada yada Owen. Go back to Iraq. And take Teddy with you, please? And if possible, fit April into your bag. Thank you!

I think so too. Mer is the mother hen of the group. But hopefully she'll be there for her husband more!
Hearing Patrick talks about the baby and MerDer make everything better. Love him. Hope SR listens to him so they could make a baby soon!!

DEREK'S STEPPING DOWN!!!!!!!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING SINCE LIKE 6X18 FOR THIS!!!!!!!
I agree that Mer's going to be there for everyone, but I do think she'll mainly be Derek's rock. She didn't watch Lexie or Alex or Cristina die, and none of them are the love of her life. I think we're going to see a much closer Meredith and Derek this season (or at least I hope), with baby dreams, and moving plans (yay dream home!), and I think she'll tell him by 7x05.
Justin's hint was annoying: Is Lexie pregnant or not? Maybe she thinks she's pregnant, and the stress of that, as well as everything with the Clarks, lead to her nervous breakdown. I have a theory that Thatcher and Molly are going to come to see her, and Meredith will have some family time with them as well. On that note, do we think Derek's family (besides Amelia) came to see him?
Callie and Arizona could definitely be the married couple, since they've suddenly realized that life is short, and Callie's last wedding was pretty impulsive and last-second too.
I'm really interested in seeing how Owen helps Cristina through her post-traumatic stress. Is he going to be suffering from what happened as well.
This all seems way too long for an hour long episode, right?

Krista Vernoff said via twitter that the miscarriage will adress in the season premiere. I think Meredith tells Derek about it in the season premiere. I don't think we'll have way until 705 for Derek to find out.
If Meredith doesn't telling in the season premiere she will tell in 702 or in 703 when Amelia is visiting. I don't think I could hold out until 705 for Derek to find out, it would complete torture for me.

It's the only thing I want to see. I'm not interest in Lexie's case of the crazies or Teddy's bed buddy.
Just give me that scene and I'll give a chance to this SP.
