Reply to PostGrey's to end with Season 7?

I adore this show, but I don't know how good it would be if it ended up like ER, and the main characters started leaving, or like Friends, that went on way longer than it should have, until what was such a well-written, funny, heartwarming show devolved into something rather formulaic. I already feel like the show is missing something without George, and I don't even know what it would be like without Cristina or the others, for example. That said, it seems like GA is evolving into a show where they really are trying to integrate newer characters--they did very well with bringing in Callie, and Arizona is fitting in really well, too, so if they keep that up, it may still be on the air past next season.

I agree with George. everything has to end up someday. If GA continues to many seasons i will start to get borded. If it end up in this season i think that it will be great for our memories. A good happy end is always needed and i think that after all that is a good time for GA to ena up. I will miss it but i'm sure i will prefer it than wacthing the same again and again. Thats a good way to stay memorable with dignity. But im sure i will really miss it.

omg. iv just read that the actors have signed on till at LEAST season 8 so this isnt true. none of us will die and we can carry on happily watching greys.

I'll cry too, just like with friends I cried the last episode.. but this will make me sooo sad, on the last episode I am buying alll the seasons on dvd so i will never have to be away from them <3

Scarlett, are you sure?I've read interview with Ellen Pompeo - "I have two more seasons and will finish the show when my contract is up," Hmmmm I'm wondering does this "two more" include this season or next one - 7 & 8.
I love Grey's and also can't imagine the end of the show. :(((( It will be very sad. And if there won't be a happy ending I will be pissed off!! Maby we'll see at last McBaby :D
In the end it's better this way than watching some kind of hybrid - like "ER". Last seasons were strange. New people... I used to love ER but the first seasons. In the end I didn't like it and was waching only instinctively.
Right now I'm pissed because of this two-week brake. I'm having really bad week, especially at work, and it would be so nice to relax and watch Grey's...
(sorry for my mistakes but I'm foreigner and just learning english ;) )

If shows like ER and the SIMPSONS can run for many years (ER what like 13 YEARS, probably more than 13 actual seasons, and the SIMPSONS....THE SIMPSONS!!! has been on for 20 YEARS!!!) If those shows can run that long then Grey's DEFINITELY SHOULD run just as long. There are some die hard Grey's fans out there, including myself!!

wow there is just no way this show could come to and end. Im totally addicted.I own seasons 1-5 and cant wait for season 6 to come out so I can buy it too. season 6 seemed to be a short season, and I have been searching every site I can to try to fine out when Season 7 starts, but no luck so far. I would be completely depressed if it does really come to and end. Let all cross our fingers and hope its really and truly just a rumor. After all, the rumor b4 Seaon 6 was that Meridith was leaving and as we all see she is still here.
