   Okay so I am sitting and watching tonights episode ! the opening and they are working on mer and chief webbers says "this is ellis's greys little girl and my?????...stops there could mer be chief webbers love child with ellis? that would explain some stuff with mer and her father thatch and why he was not around and why he an ellis were so close ! let me know what you think ! great episode and christina and mer was the most touching part !

   I heard it and I couldn’t wait to get on here to see if anyone else heard it. I think the chief is more involved emotionally to Mer than he ever thought. Definitly opened up a can of worms. Be very interesting to see where they go with that. Esp now that Ellis is gone. Mer has a Bio-dad and the Chief who was there til she was like 8 or 9 when Ellis picked up and moved to Boston. So it looks the Mer’s daddy issues have just begun.

   i agree McSteamy.Fan... but its highly possible. but what a/b mer's skin color?wouldnt she be black(even tho of course there is a small percentage that she would turn out white) i still think its highly possible
