Is Derek going to quit his job ?

    I still believe that this is to create some drama and grab views to the March sweeps. He will quit for due to his crisis (maybe for a couple of episodes) but some event will make him go back to his work.

    As Nikki said, Patrick Dempsey leaving would be a DNR form to the show...

    If Patrick leave it won't be grey's anymore!

    so i hope he'll quit just for a short time.

    Im sure that he wont quit his job for i know he loves merideth and her friends so izzie is sick so im sure he will come back
