Meet Thatchers new woman

   http://www.tvguide.com/News/Kecks-Exclusives-Children-1026905.aspx When Meredith and Lexie Grey's father, Thatcher, returns to Grey's Anatomy in February, he'll be bringing with him a new lady, played by soap actress Alexa Havins. From 2003-2007, blonde beauty Alexa played the very popular role of Babe Chandler on the ABC soap opera, All My Children (she also crossed over to One Life To Live for a few episodes). While Alexa has appeared on episodes of Cold Case and CSI: Miami, Grey's is by far her highest-profile primetime gig to date. How will Thatcher's daughters feel about their daddy dating a girl their own age? You'll have to wait and see, but it's safe to say they won't be overjoyed.

   it will be fun. We will see how lexie is gonna react. She's dating with someone who's older than her. I cannot wait.

   This is gonna be so interesting to watch. I don't think it'll affect Meredith as much as it will affect Lexie though and I think that's fine. To see how Lexie will react to this is totally exciting!

   I agree with all the previous comments.

   I too think Lexie will have more of a problem then Meredith. Thatcher was/is her father and Lexie won't like the fact Thatcher is dating a younger woman. Than again she may have problems that he has moved on after losing her mum and how he reacted to her death.

   Looking forward to seeing how it will be played out. It's a good thing Thatcher is dating again, just hope his daughters will be happy for him. Time will tell.

   I doubt Mer would care who Thatcher is dating. But Lexie will freak, especially that his father is dating a really young woman it's like her own relationship with Mark. She's dating a really older guy who has a daughter close to her age..

   I think it's possible that Lexie will freak so much because of their age difference but her relationship with Mark might be what puts some sense into her and realize that the age difference is fine.

   I agree that we're gonna see a lot of Lexie's usual whining but I think aside from that, it'll be a good and also funny story for them to do. I mean, this kind of thing really does happen so it will be a good thing for them to do it on the show. We'll see the reactions of the daughter that he really raised and the one of the daughter that he left. We'll just have to suck it up with Lexie's whining cause if she didn't whine about it, then it just wouldn't be Lexie.
