    Mer really has no grounds to care, or say anything. She has never been particularly close with him, and Susan wasn't her mother, so she won't feel like he is moving on too fast or whatever.  Lexie, on the otherhand, will be upset, and have every right to be.  If I was Lexie I would feel the same way...I'm guessing it's been what? 2 years since her mother died, so her dad should rightfully move on, but it is only natural for his daughter to whine, or be upset that her dad is dating someone HER age...I don't know about anyone else, but if my dad did that, Id be doing a pretty heavy dose of whining

    Actually think that Lexie will be upset that Meredith won't care.

    To answer the question what would I do if my dad dates someone age after 3 years of my mother's death. I'd be happy for him, I actually would be relief because someone else is going to take care of his crap and I won't have to worry about him anymore.
