Sad return of character

   An original Grey's Anatomy castmember, someone we've known since the series' first year, is returning to the show! This character has had a key part in one of Grey's many romance-go-rounds, but this time something has changed.

   As it happens, the character in question is coming back with a serious problem that requires personal attention from one of the docs at Seattle Grace. 

   So who's coming back, and what's the trouble?

   Sources reveal to us that Loretta Divine is returning to Grey's Anatomy.

   Divine, who has appeared on the show as Adele Webber, Chief Webber's (James Pickens Jr.) ex, since the show's first year in 2005, is set to return to Seattle Grace Mercy West later this year. Why? Because apparently Adele has taken ill and needs medical care. Eek.

   Look for Adele's Grey's Anatomy return engagement to air in mid-February. (Hmmm...could this medical treatment also be the situation that sets up a Valentine's Day reunion for the former partners?)

    

   I love Adele. I hope they don't kill her!

   awww. i lovee adlele too. she cracks me up. better not kill her off. that will be soo sadd. it could force rishard to start drinking again. thats not good.

   Adele! :DShe is amazing!I love when she screams all the time and carries on. :pIf they kill her off, I'll be so disappointed as she is the best.I look forward to her return as she is amazing.Considering she used to be a nurse, you think they'd make her work in the hospital and promote her to series regular...Aside from that storyline, does anyone know what happened to The Chief's niece? I remember she had the cancer storyline, but nothing was heard or mentioned if she died...

   I don't know about their niece but I'd love to never see Adele again, she's pretty much useless character imo.

   I'm sooo sad that they are doing this to Adele.  I like her character and I hate to see her go down this path.
