Speaculation: Will McDreamy Propose?

   I think he will after realizing how much he loves her, and after seeing her almost die twice. Also, we saw a little hint about marriage in episode 15. She was waaay too defensive; I think she has marriage in mind. What do you guys think?

   possibly, but i think shonda will save that for a while. like maybe he gets a ring and keeps waiting for the perfect chance, that would be cute

   I don't think marriage is going to happen between them any time soon; I don't think their relationship really needs it. It's different with like Cristina and Burke; doing so for Cristina really proves how much she loves him, to be willing to make that kind of commitment. But Meredith and Derek? They could grow to old age and sit rocking on a porch in rocking chairs and be blissfully happy while never once having thought of getting married. Also, two couples getting married in a season already seems enough. Otherwise people will get sick of it.

   yea, and her reaction when he asked if she wanted to get married, that pretty much said it all. not that she didnt love him and want to be with him, just that marriage just isnt in the picture right now

   I agree with miss dane I just don't think either of them are ready to get married, they need to be normal for awhile, and they already have burke and cristina getting married i think it would be too much if they had 3 couples getting married.

   i would love if they got married but i dont think it will happen anytime soon. I think he will propose but not for another year. I have it all planned out in my head!!!

   I think this is how the series will end it with a Big Mer and Der wedding....the Happily ever after doesn't come til after, so in the mean time I imagine this will be a rollercoaster ride for quite a few years.

   yeah I agree with pink mist! the huge series finale which I hope never comes!!! cause i really don't want greys to end! will be mer and der getting married! or it might be in the next season or 2 I mean he just got a divorce and they just got back together, it isn't like they have been together as long as cristina and burke have, they have been together for about a year now and are totally ready to gte married! but Mer and Der will be together forever! i think anyway even if they don't get married any time soon!
