I feel like they are trying to force the fans to accept Jackson and April. Maybe like they are supposed to be the new George and Izzie only in the sense that Mer took them into their house and they bonded as family. I think that Shonda and Co. are preparing for a Season 9 with a new, younger breed of doctors to carry on a la ‘ER’. With this force feeding, I wonder how this is going to affect the other characters. I’m not ready to see more of the Mercy Westers at the expense of Mark, Lexie, Callie and Arizona. BTW, I feel like Callie is the only character that was never welcome into the Meredith fold. Even though she’s been there since season 2, she’s always been on the outskirts close only to Mark Sloan which the writers don’t take too seriously either. And now, they are bringing these two newbies and they are going to be pushed all the way to the front of the line on the Meredith Grey circle of acceptance. Not too happy about that. Callie plays extremely well with all the characters. She is dynamic with Bailey, Christina, even little Grey. She even has a special relationship with the Chief but somehow for some reason they never played this up

Shame they are using Meredith and her fans to make us like April. They are playing dirty. I will be pissed if they use all the Mer time on a stupid, annoying character like April. It's so sad that she can't be interesting on her own. They had to make her paired up with the lead of Grey's.

April and Jackson moving into Mer's house, is manipulative and contrive. I hope it fails. The worst part is that they don't even try to hide the fact that they are using Meredith to get us to like April.

I hope it fails big time!! SR is using my favourite character to promote her new toy! I am so angry at her. If she's using someone to make people like her than she shouldn't be a regular on Grey's every Thursdays.
No wonder why Sarah Drew said lots of good things about EP. She's the one that is helping her keep her job. LOL.

I do a little think,i don't like Teddy but SR does hers regular ,now the same thing with April ,i don't like no now and no ever and she thinks to use Mer for the audience.These are mean tricks ,but wanted to much to not Sara behavier regular as Kim ,too...Shonda thinks that we are stupids.If to me a thing doesn't like ,crumb me do it pleasure because likes to other...as Shonda does with the fans not do it no-one else.Mer 'll be always my preferred character in this show and i hope that Shondaone's own that not the downfall in favor of April,indeed i sclero!!!!!!!!!!!

Word to all of you. Even so, Jackson doesn't need that much shoving down in order to like him. He is actually a great character with a good personality. But April and Teddy? Come on!
These two characters are not liked. They are pointless and useless to the show. The fact that TPTB have to move them into Mer's house to make us like her is pathetic and frankly, a sign of how things are going: wrong direction.
I'm not having high hopes for this season. It won't go well.

Maybe they'll do like they did with Hahn. Wasn't the reason that they got rid of Hahn was because no one liked her character, and she had no chemistry with Callie or anyone on the show.
Brooke Smith is a great actress, but the character of Hahn wasn't likeable and that is why they fired Brooke Smith. Maybe they will do same thing with April, crossing my fingers lol.

Oh, I hope so. She can go to her family's farm and take Teddy along with her or maybe they will ship them of to 'Off the Map'.

I think I liked Erica Hahn more than April or Teddy, LOL.
They could leave to the parking lot of doom and wax their body parts for what I care. I just want them gone.
