    someone close to Mer slaps her? They would NOT go there with MERDER?!?!Think maybe her dad might slap her? who else could it be? George, Alex, the Chief? uhh this sucks

    I think it is either her father or the chief. I think Susan is the one to die and since Meredith has something to do with it in some way he might slap her just being in pain for losing his wife (maybe she says something like: you didn't cry when my mom died or something like that). It could be the chief because he is so tired of that MerDer thing and it reminds him so much of his affair with her mother. I don't know, but it is not Derek.

    I thought it's Derek. I just realized that Derek was capable of calling Meredith a WHORE, so why couldn't it he be capable of slapping her? BUT Derek is not the Meredith-slapping guy. It's Thatcher. Some kind of relief, huh?

    @schmalentines I think there is a huge difference between telling a girl that is changing guys like underwear what you think of her (and Derek was totally in pain, jealous and fighting with himself) and actually slapping someone. If a boyfriend slapps his girl she should tell him where to leave right away - even if it is Derek. Do you know for sure it is Thatcher, or just a guess?
