Trauma Counsellor has been cast
-
The traumatized staffers at Seattle Grace are about to find the silver lining in May’s deadly hostage standoff: The shoulder they’ll be crying on belongs to James Tupper.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that the ex-Mercy doc (and Men in Trees hunk) is joining Grey’s Anatomy in the recurring role of Andrew Perkins, a trauma counselor brought in to help Seattle Grace recover from that nightmarish season-ending bloodbath.
Tupper is on board for at least two episodes.
Grey’s kicks off its seventh season on Sept. 23 with an episode titled “With You I’m Born Again.”

Ew. So I'm guessing his job will be also to bed Teddy, right?
Maybe they can grab April and get lost on the parking lot of doom.

LOL @ anuflas. I hope he really stays for 2 episodes. Hopefully Shonda doesn't fall in love with him and make him stay around for a love interest for Teddy. She's the one that is single and in her forties, same age as his.

I was hoping the trauma counselor was going to be nerdy and ugly so the writers and Shonda wouldn't be tempted to pair him with anybody or keep him around. Shoot the actor is hot. Why would they ask for a hot actor to play a trauma counselor in the first place?

Lexie: Mark, I'm dying. Please tell Meredith I love her and that she is a good sister.
