chandra suresh unanswered questions

I am a bit confused as to the history behind chandra suresh. in the first season the story is that he set out to find people with abilities after attempting to cure his daughter.
In season three, we find out that he worked at coyote sands which means that he knew of people with abilities. this doesn't seem to fit the notion that he was trying to prove the existence of people with abilities. Would appreciate it if someone could fill me in on this one.
Oh also, if dr.zimmerman worked for the company that experiment on linderman, angela and co, how does he then end up working for the company?

I would say that Yes he did work at Coyote Sands with People that had abilities, which prompted him to Find them because he knew that they existed. Back in the 50s they didnt have databases and better medical/genetic equipment so those with abilities couldnt be kept track off. In reality I want to say that since he knew that those with abilities existed his research was more toward What in the body causes their ability; whether its genetic or something in the brain that Sylar keeps extracting.
I miss Mohinder!

Uh... didn't the Company founders erase the memories of all of Coyote Sands survivors? Its possible that Chandra's research was not only prompted by Shanti, but also by any surviving papers that the Company missed when they destroyed the evidence.

Whatever the case is, I don't think we'll be hearing anything about Coyote Sands ever again. Or Caitlin, still stuck in the future that will never happen.

She was expendable, though. I would really like to see her transport herself back somehow and have a super cool power to boot.

Sylar: I can't bring Nathan back Peter, but I can sure as Hell swing a sledgehammer.
