One thing I am very curious about is the ability of the carnival to move around seemingly at will. Whose ability is enabling it to do that? Or is the carnival stationary and somebody is opening a portal of sorts to allow Samuel et al to move around almost at will? But we know a few weeks ago the carnival was within a day's drive of New York, and this week it was just outside of Los Angeles -- or at least a poster left on the ground where Samuel seemingly disappeared with Vanessa and Eli indicates as much. Is this maybe part of the power of the dreadlocked dude who scrambled Hiro's brain?
Or maybe we are destined to never know?

I think it's a combination of two powers.
Ted has the power of cloaking, however i'm not sure if he can cloak against all our 5 senses or not. the Samuel would have the ability to move the carnival whever he wanted.
The only doubts I have over this are that this carnival has been goin since before Sam found his powers, so how were they moving it before...

i think it's not that complicated. maybe someone in the carny has the ability of just hiding things. maybe the carny is right next to noah but he cant see it. as when they were chasing nethan (sylar) he went to the carny but the police officers couldnt see it.

It could very well be that simple, but I would still like to meet the character responsible for doing so. Given how often it has come into play, it's a rather large plot device.
