does danko have a power?

   if you go back to the 1st episode where tracy strauss is about to be captured- she grabs one of the agents by the arm n begins to freeze him yet her ability stops for some reason and its danko she grabs! backing my theory- in the new episode shades of gray ms petrelli refers to danko in mongolia and how surpised she was he survived something bad that happened there! ??

   It's an interesting theory, and raises another good reason why Sylar is lying in wait in Danko's apartment — maybe Sylar wants whatever Danko can do. I'll have to go back and watch that first episode again, but there was definitely some sort of understanding on behalf of Angela, something he doesn't want people to know about. Given the personal agenda Danko is pushing and his repeated claims that these people are dangerous certainly implies he either has a power himself and knows first hand, or has been harmed by an individual or group with powers and wants to exact revenge. Or, it coule be both. Either way, he has been a great baddie in this volume.

   I also thought matt and peter would control his mind during the 30 second power outage but they didn't.In the van matt had another chance before he got the shot .

   The first episode that showed Danko might not mean he has a power, just that maybe they knew who they were going up against and made thier suits so that it would nullify Tracy's power. If Danko does have a power, could it be that no other powers affect him? Something like the Haitan's only it's on all the time.  Has any other heroes used thier powers on him yet? I can't remember. Mind you, normal people can survive bad things in Cambodia too, doesn't mean he has anything. Anglea could have just used that to let him know that she has access to all sort's of information as well. Guess we'll just have to wait and find out.

   JUST BECAUSE HE WAS THE ONLY ONE TO SURVIVE IN ANGOLA PROLLY MEANT, MAYBE HE KILLED EVERYONE PURPOSELY..IF HE DID HAVE A POWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

   Maybe Danko, if he has a power, has invisability like Claude. He was always spying on everyone and could have been invisible.

   maybe danko and samson grey have a past. they are about the same age and danko seems to have an understanding of ppl with abilities and what they can do. And during the time when samson was sylars  age there were definatly none of the resourse to be able to come close to stopping him as there is now. as for danko having an ability, i have pondered that question since his arrival on the show. It can go either way. but what we do know for sure is that emile danko has a big grudge against evolved humans.

   Has there been any scenes yet where Danko has been physically injured or hurt by someone's powers?

   Watching the episodes, I can't think of any.

   Some people have already given some examples. It should be noted that Danko appeared almost instantly after Tracy was frozen, yet was completely untouched by the ice. If he were that close to the scene when it happened, surely he would have been frozen as well?

   I thinking his power is simple; powers can't affect him. Not like the Haitan, who can shut people's powers off, but that people's powers simply don't work on him. He can't be mind-controlled, frozen, or have his head sliced open.

   Now, think about it... if this is true, whose the one guy Sylar can't hurt..?

   Sylar wants more powers. Danko wants to hunt people with special abilities.

   If you can't beat them, join them...

   yeh is interesting, but sylar is there to pair up with danko, not to kill, and if danko does have power than we shall see in the next 2 episodes i reckon...

    I can't really back this up or anything, but ever since Danko appeared on the show, I've thought that he has the same as Claire.  Does anyone share this suspicion or can anyone point out something I might have missed?
