I heard this is the last we will see of Nathan! I'm very sad but this should make for a really good episode before the long break until January!
Peter vs. Sylar!!!!!!!
Farewell, Nathan/Adrian! We love you! :( *sniff*sniff* Bravo for the goodbye scene!
Movin' on to the "Fifth Stage", literally, I was a little disappointed that Peter was not able to get some powers out of Sylar. This is really frustrating. All this anticipation and no powers absorbed. GAH! Please, someone grab that nail gun and shoot a nail into my head!
Speaking of frustration, Lauren walks in looking all mascara sexy, and HRG gets no action. He only gets stiff acting from Lauren and his files stolen by Multiplicity dude. I mean, I understand that they're trying to build up anticipation and create a cliffhanger, but I find myself completely unsatisfied.
The Lauren thing also makes no sense: if her memory was erased by the Haitian, and she has no memories have having feelings for HRG... then why was she clearly flirting with him and so open to a dinner invitation when they first met?
This show can never be consistent with its storytelling.
Its sad I really liked the brothers relationship they were alwayss truggling together and now he is gone. I wish Hero could bring him back like he did his girlfriend if anything they will be the ones I will miss the most.
nathan is gone and its good for the show, and i hope hiro dont bring him backk cuz tha would just be stupid and pointless, the show has lost its edge because of reason like bringing people back tha have died, and even thought nathan brings depth to the cast him dying is good and, about time lol and member the whole time tha the scene was playing i was hopin he took his power but he didnt so gay!!!!!
Thought the peter sylar/nathan scenes were brilliant, espicially him hanging on to peter then turning into sylar on the way down was brilliant, like the daphne scene when she went to the moon, the shows at its best when they finally kill someone off, althou i do hope they bring nathan back, sylar could use his image to become the president and play out that future again and peter gets his scar blah blah, they should have done the scar on his face on this episode and the scar could be a reminder of his brothers death but thats just me
Everything else in the episode was shit, claire dragging her friend all the way there to the carnival door 21 hours later she says i dont think we should do this!!, so samuel is after gretchen im to believe ? then just take her !! dont let her go the carnival storyline has litterially not changed since the first episode
they spent about 5 episodes with sylar at the carnival not knowing who he was for what?? they havent even mentioned his disapearance they just accept he has gone and forgotton about it
there are no payoffs on certain parts of this season, this was the first epiosde i thought they have 6-7 or so episodes left to do something and i can believe it will be anything good, espicially since we know only one perosn dies this season which was nathan,
very frustrating but peter/ nathan saved the episode but its still lacking good writing, some of the dialogue was so bad, if lauren mentions "bag and tag" one more time im going to kill myself
by the way i love heroes but its so frustrating
and hiro ando and mohinder in the woods whats happening there ?
I, like truth, was hoping that Peter took Nathan's (or Sylar's) ability as he was holding on to him.
Does this then mean that Peter can't go near anybody with a power because he will stop them working?
I really will miss Adrian's character. The interaction between Nathan and Peter was great. Let's hope Peter doesn't become all mopey and self-pitying.
I think peter can choose to use his new power cause when he was on the lift sylar was using his shapeshifting to be the black woman and then used a power to chuck him out, so he has to know theres a power around to supress it i believe.
The Carnival thing was a bit tanky, if you ask me. It just got a bit boring, and was rather predictable. But I still love the streaky lighting, though.
But I must say, this was the saddest episode EVER!!!! I've never been a Nathan fan, but seeing last week where he came through and saved his mom and bro from Sylar really redeemed his character for me. I was sad to see him go. And the roof scene broke my heart! My mom was all teary, and even my lil sis was quiet. It was heart wrenching and beautiful.
I also loved the Sylar-Peter fight. It wasn't quite the awesome showdown I've been waiting for, but it still was inceredible!!! And Sylar got scary again. With the storylines they've had him in recently (I say recently, I mean last season with his dad and elle, whatnot), he seemed to have lost his season 1, give-me-that-d***-list-so-i-can-sink-my-teeth-into-it ruthlessness I've been missing. But the laughing thing really re-scaried him for me. It was way creepy! You get NAILED to a board, your nose broken, and other injuries that we maybe cant see, and you LAUGH!!!???? That's the sylar we know, love, and fear!!!
I just can't believe we have to wait until JANUARY!!!! *weeps*
