heroes sucks even more
it all started to go downhill after peter's atomic meltdown...which totally messed up nathan....for awhile....or something. season 1...full of possibility, imagination, anticipation, etc. season 2....average....the rest of it...like....where the hell are we and how did we get here?! and is there any way out? still, i watch...hoping. problem is, the slowly dwindling ratings. i don't think i've ever seen a tv program take off so beautifully....only to suddenly...well...whatever...it's frustrating.
I want to hold your hand?!?!!? what the fuck is this faggotry.
Totaly Unwatchable!!! This show should be in film schools across the country. How to destroy a series with dumb writers.
I liked this episode. lets remember the show is based on the comic book premise. hiro being cured was elegant for a comic book setting.
samuel is now the villain instead of recruiter.
the only part which disturbs me was sylar. if the show is seriously looking to tame sylar, then peter being all powerful is irrelevant. no big showdown.
however, last episode peter and angela dreamt of syar going to kill emma, so maybe he does not curb his power after all.
You don't really like this show anymore. You watch it because you're as bored as me. The only reason I am here is to vent my frustration about a show that had potential but now totally sucks. BORING. The ratings are at their lowest ever and I refuse to watch it until the ratings rise and people are raving about it again. I hope that it gets dropped from the air and nothing ever gets resolved because the ratings tank. FLUSH HEROES NBC!!
I used to love Heroes. I thought the first couple seasons were good and entertaining. My wife and I couldnt even get through the first couple episodes this year. I just let the Tivo expire them all. Nothing makes sense. Its people double crossing whos good whos bad what the hell is going on now who has what power this guy is dead but now hes back.... bleh. Theres no story anymore, just random confusing stuff.
Yes I agree, the role samual plays, recruiter, then villain.. recruiter again then villain again ... the writers are chasing their tails with this stupid carnie subplot and it continues to go nowhere.
Did anyone actually watch "slow burn" online or did the stupid Sprint marketing angle just turn you off from it? It did for me....
The problem with Heroes is that there has been no growth to the main characters or the storylines. Sure, the writers try to put in a few dialogs about moral dilemmas, but overall, why are the characters still going through the same personal crises from Season 2ish? Also, each midseason there is awesome potential to the story arcs, but then we all know that any secondary character, better developed than main characters, will die by the time the arcs end a few months later. And so the series just spins and spins, not going anywhere.
I stopped watching by habit when they were being chased by the government or something, and then when I channel flipped just recently, I saw the characters getting chased again: Hiro acting like Hiro, cheerleader acting like cheerleader, mystery dad acting like mystery dad--all from four years ago. No more, thank you.
I hope my taking it off the DVR schedule continues to help sink the ratings. End the series already and open it up for something more stimulating.
far enough then guest. your no longer a fan? see you, hope you enjoy the last pop idol;)
I agree, and it's so sad. 'Cause Heroes used to be a really good show, the first season was a masterpiece but after that it went downhill. And I don't even know where they are going with the show, so many damn plotholes and so many characters and storylines forgotten.
But I still wanna watch it, I wanna see how it ends, and hopefully it ends soon.
