This subject REALLY bothers me.  Hiro is by far one of the coolest characters on the show.  I know the show really needs to take death more seriously, but why does it have to kill off Hiro???  Kill this new deaf woman instead!

Strongly AGREED! Hiro's character coupled along with Ando make the best humor duo from the entire series. Without Hiro, I'd assume a lot of fans would be disappointed.

Guys..Hiro and Ando are now the far least liked characters on the show...nobody likes their comic relief humor shit anymore because thats all they are...immature with no purpose other than that....they need to be more involved in the plot so that they can be liked again.

True, Maj, they are dopey as hell these days, but that's just poor writing. I wanna see the Hiro and Ando characters from the first season, with great lines like, "You talk to me. I scare me." Hiro was truly the backbone of that first season, then somewhere down the line they steered his plot into a big frickin' ditch.

Yeah, Season One was good because we got to see Hiro grow and mature. Season two followed that fairly well with the whole Takezo Kensei thing.

Then it just stopped. Its a shame because as a character he was actually heading somewhere and now its been wasted.

You know what I really miss? Visits from future Hiro. Not trips to the past or the future, just visits from the Hiro of the future. It just makes sense for Hiro's character that he would be checking up on himself as he traveled through time.

Thats what I loved about Season One. It was so well planned. A potential threat was identified that the heroes would have to face together, but none of them knew eachother until Future Hiro came back and gave Peter instructions on how to find the people who could help him. If Future Hiro had never traveled back, none of it would have happened.

Hiro really controlled the show for the first 2 seasons. Whenever he travelled through time, the show developed around that time jump. I really think that when Arthur Petrelli took his powers, it was the beginning of the end for poor Hiro. Sucks that it had to happen right after such a great scene with his mommy.

No, it was the beginning of the end when the writers failed to deliver a good explanation for why Angela would possibly send Hiro to awaken Adam. What role did Adam have in defeating Arthur? He didn't. He just moved Arthur's plans along to a massive extent and made Season 2's coolest villain totally useless.
