    Peter's character should have evolved into something like Dr. Manhantan from watchmen. All powerfull but losing touch with humanity. What do you think?

   Nooooo. I think he lost touch with humanity during Villains and thats why he's no longer quite as empathic. I think he's recognising that flaw and he's working on it. But I think Peter wouldn't let himself lose touch with humanity. He's the kind of guy who would always strive to stay human.

   Sylar, however, is another story.

   I dotn think he lost his humanity.  If that were so being a paramedic would not be his profession.  I dont think he can get more humanistic then that.  Peter is the essence of GOOD on the show vs. the Played out EVIL - Sylar.  Sylar should have died season 3.
