    It wasn't that he couldn't hold powers permanantly, though.  It was just that he didn't know how to call them out at will.  Claude's training helped him with that.

    Well, after looking at the preview photos of the next episode, it seems to me like Peter will have access to Sylar/Nathan's powers when he and Sylar/Nathan visit Matt in the hospital room.  He can then get the EMPATH power by touching Sylar/Nathan, as well as all of Sylar's culmulative powers. He already knows how to control the "hunger" now.  So...problem solved! I'm guessing that Sylar/Matt will be trying to get back into his old body here also.  Can't wait to see what happens!

    Actually AheroesChick...the hunger is gone from Peter because it was taken away when Arthur stole his abilities althuogh he might get it back if he touches Sylar again.

    i am actually liking peter with his new power now. i'm sort of forgeting what its like to have this all powerful peter, now we have this new humble peter.

    I am also beginning to forget his all mighty previous power.  Im just comparing him to Rogue now.  But I am still confused as to if he can control it or not Espacially since he just crashed into emma and got her sound ability.

    also, why does he not heal emma's hearing?

    i expect the makers of heroes are hoping we the viewers start to forget about the all mighty peter so they can keep him like he is.

    Yeh I think after a season or two everyone will forget Peter's true empathy.  I didnt think of healing Emmas hearing...that would be pretty cool to see.

    Its a good idea to heal her hearing... she clearly wasn't born deaf or she wouldn't be able to speak. But something tells me this might just end up in the Caitlin file.

    But if Peter heals Emma's hearing, then we won't have a token "handicapable" hero anymore, and wheelchair Barbie will shed tears of unfathomable sadness.

    I'm hoping he takes hiros power goes back to season 1/2/3 and get his original ability back from Past Peter. along with then being able to mimic hiros ability etc to get back to the present
