I'm not sure how excited I am for this episode. The previews didn't really get me pumped up for the episode. I want more about the Hiro/Samuel conflict. I guess I'm kind of interested about Peter's situation. I wish they would do something with the Nathan/Sylar thing - like when are Peter and Claire going to find out what the hell happened to Nathan! Also I hope the Parkman situation is dramatic
I think tonight's show will be worth it just to see Parkman/Sylar on the move. That has to the first step to reuniting Sylar's memories with his body. The part of the trailer with Peter has me a little pissed and leery at that storyline. His powers are waning? Why not just absorb the power of the deaf girl, because seeing sounds as colours is a great ability for a paramedic to have. There best be a good explanation for that clip of the trailer. The last episode left us with a great cliff hanger, and it would be nice to see some development on that front -- but I have a feeling we will have to wait a bit for that to happen.
I dont get why Peter is sick myself...I dont know maybe because equally as he is holding the power of life...he is holding Death as well????? thats why??
I REALLY want the Sylar/Parkman story to end already. There is just to Much screen time for Sylar...its quite annoying now.
Hiros/Samuel situation is something that I really WANT to see progress. I suppose the same with Claire, but I believe her fight is with the invisible girl and HRG getting into it ruins her chance of actually DOING SOMETHING ...HRG needs to join Samuel to get my interest back.
Surprisingly enjoyed this episode alot! I actually thought Parkman was dead but the cops didnt really hit any vital organs. I also liked the interactions between Samuel, Claire, Noah, and Becky. The preview for next week looked awesome, but does this mean the end for Parkman, Peter, and Nathan (becuz sylar will try to kill them all) - and the start of new lease on life for Sylar??
This episode had me gripped from start to finish. I was absolutely hooked on it.
Good to see Adrian Pasdar again....I felt like Nathan hasnt had enough screen time and it was good to see him.
Claires interactions with Samuel. I was shocked in how Mature she was...espacially when Samuel said..you were stalling? She was like "Im going to trust you over my dad" Kinda nice to see that.
GRETCHEN IS GONE...YESSSSSS!!!!
Becky's interactions with HRG. Isnt HRG BAd ass when he is holding a gun!
Peters Interactions with Emma, brought some good old fashion drama into teh mix..loved that we know now who Christopher is and some back story about why she dropped out of medical school.
Matt being a Martyr to stop Sylar......PRICELESS!!!! I think my mouth dropped in the slow motion intensity right before he was shot. Cant believe the previews showed him ok already.
Haitians name is Renee....damn...he has a name..lol
What is Samuels motive now...I think the recruitment has gone far enough...other than that he is awsome.
i'm sure samuel will try to figure out where the hell sylar went and will regret it when he brings the real sylar into the fold. also how will he get peter?
Wow. That's all I can say about last night's episode. Maybe it's because my expectations for Shadowboxing were so low, but this was an awesome hour of TV.
Another holy shit moment, this one with Sylar and Parkman. I love how Parkman lulled Sylar into that false sense of security, and then used his power to make the ultimate sacrifice (or so we thought for about 10 minutes). That's twice now that Parkman has been filled full of lead (he was shot up in Kirby Plaza as well). nevermind needing to smuggle a gun into an airport to set off metal detectors -- he'll do it all on his own with the numbe of bullets put into this poor guy. What Parkman did here was awesome -- I mean, he was going to die anyway -- if Sylar ever find his body, Parkman is on the shit list; Sylar was quite clear about that.
And a name for the Haitian! Wow. I got all excited when I saw Jimmy Jean Louis in the opening credits. I love his screen presence. He's like Boba Fett. He doesn't have to say much. he doesn't even have to do much. Just by BEING there, he is cool. Samuel was once again awesome, but what I liked most was how Claire played him. Who woulda thought she had it in her? That is the kind of character development she has been lacking and it was nice to see. HRG was like HRG is supposed to be. Putting himself fearlessly in harm's way. Loved the reference to Claude when he was tracking down Becky in her room. Loved the connection between the two characters that has Becky seeking revenge. It hasn't happened often that Samuel's plan has fallen short, and that he had two losses last night (the Bennets and Nathan/Sylar getting away) makes his character that much more intribuing. Now we will see how he deals with adversity.
I need a refresher: Samuel mentioned that Danko killed his brother and that is what started this all (so now we cllearly see he is out for revenge). I'm drawing a blank on that. Did we see that happen, or is it something that would have happened off screen at some other time? I'd like to know where and how, and if his brother is a character we have already seen but didn't know he was Samuel's brother (I'm thinking Doyle here).
Did anybody else get the impression there is a history between Bennett and Samuel? There certainly was some good tension in Claire's room there, and not just from the fact HRG was pointing a gun at Samuel.
I even enjoyed the Peter/Emma storyline, although all those hospital scenes made me think NBC is really missing ER right about now. LOL.
Can't wait for next week and the return of Mohinder with what looks like some film from Coyote Sands.
I to also enjoyed the reference to Claude...is there a potential cameo for that characters return? I cant wait for next week ...espacially to see Mohinder....on top of that were going to have most of the characters together again......Sylar intent on killing everyone involved for his mind transfer was awsome....I cracked up on his Italian Stallion mention of Peter and how he remembers being stuck by that syringe.
Things are moving.
Joseph has a face, but we havent seen it yet (except in the graphic novel). The actor is named on another website (wiki). It seems that Joseph was a restraining force on Samuel and that this has all been set into motion since Danko killed Joseph.
The film from coyote sands is also available on another website (ODI, I think). Some interesting clues there. It seems that Samuel may have been born at Coyote Sands and that he might be able to tap into energy from other people with abilities and become more and more powerful.
No idea what he wants to do with the power, but we'll find out eventually.
I will enjoy next weeks episode because for one Mohinder is returning and he will be explaining information which looks like information about Coyote Sands. Smm if you are right I would love to see Samuel achieve his ultimate goal.
