    cles...not sure, but maybe coz its more of an understanding...and sylars use of his ability is only one way of using it, maybe peter can find a good way of using it. find out how he can destroy his father, in the same way sylar can make understand how it works-peter can understand the weakness of his father... this is all assuming peter can still use the understanding.

    i also dont think that peter will regain all of his powers. simple reason being that it would make one character in the show too powerful.i dont see how arthur will stay in the show long-term unless peter or another hiro finds a way of containing or killing him.
