Volume 5 Redemption

Ando can still shock Hiro with his red bolts in the future in Tokyo over the power formula.  Remember Hiro saw it when he traveled through time, and freaked out over it.  At the end of Volume 5,  Hiro told Ando they both must return to Tokyo, and of course Ando has that power now.

When Mohinder treated Hiro in the Volume 4 finale, Mohinder explicitly mentioned that Hiro's power is being rejected by his body "like a virus", and Mohinder looked right at the camera when he said it.

I think Hiro will learn the power formula can heal him, and I guess he'll find a new catalyst or something. Since it died with Arthur, they would have to introduce a twist, it's been done before.  Maybe he doesn't need the catalyst since his powers are natural.

Ando will hate this plan and tell Hiro he's being a villian by bringing back all this nonsense, and I'm sure Hiro will say it's a one-time only thing.  I'm sure Mohinder will be doing all the research and treatment.  I think the Shanti virus will re-emerge, perhaps by Mohinder tinkering with it's DNA and combining it with the formula to create a cure for Hiro.

By doing so, it would converge with explaining the early days of the Company, since it was Adam who got all nutty with the virus, and Arthur & Hiro's dad who started up the formula stuff along with the original crew.  We already know those kids who played young versions of the Company founders have been invited back for more flashbacks, and this would neatly converge the new storylines with both the past and future.

I can't say for sure how all of this will go down, I have ideas obviously, but I think I'm on the right track.

And yeah, water woman is Tracy lol, and I'm not so sure I'm compelled with what seems to be in store for Sylar/Nathan.

Complete change of subject, but surely Ando can charge Peters power when he next touches Sylar, all powers copied?! Job Done

Baros: "It would make more sense if it was tracy since she froze herself into a bunch of pieces and then melted.  As far as Sylar goes they could have easily killed him.  He was tranquilized was he not?  They could have incinerated him or threw him in a volcano or something.  It's guaranteed to get that sweet spot.  The way they did it was stupid as hell and you know that he'll be back.  I swear the writers are morons in the fact that they make characters make stupid irrational decisions all of the time.  Logic NEVER plays a part in their thinking.  I can understand suspension of disbelief, but this is just piss poor, lazy, writing and character developement."

You're forgetting that Sylar killed Nathan, a US senator. The implications of this would encourage a step up in government operations, more funding for the agency, and more efforts to capture people with powers. Sure, they could have killed him, but it wouldn't be tactical to do so. They had confidence in Matt's ability to manipulate minds.

I reckon the Company will be just as devious and crooked as ever. It will be back to the good old backstabbing, murdering, memory-erasing tricks we knew and loved in Series 1 and 2. The Episode '1961' showed us that the company was formed after a previous attempt by the government to round up those with abilities. The fact that there will be more 1960s flashbacks proves there will be parallels.

I'm wondering what happened to Molly in this last Volume. I may have forgotten something important, but I'm sure Matt and Mohinder were supposed to be playing gay dads.

I love Heroes but I really annoys me how Sylar keeps getting beat by people with second class or no powers. I mean, how is Clairs dad even still alive when Sylar could eaily kill him with the blink of an eye and did peter even get close to touching him and taking his power?? Im sure being hit with an electricity bolt would leave a few more injuries then a few ripped cloths and im sure telekinesis could of kept Peter at from touching him. The writers need get a grip. If they are going to make a character that insanely powerful and then decide to take them down, give us the huge battle we have all waiting for against some worthy opponents.

I'm with you on the worthy opponent thing.  I was actually happy when nathan died b-cuz it happened to be relatively realistic.  If you put someone with rinkydink powers up against somebody like Sylar, your rinkydink is gonna die. Sorry, plain and simple.  Following that rule of thumb, everyone who's ever fought Sylar (with the exception of Claire) should be dead and Sylar should be ruling the world. But no: that would end the show, wouldn't it? :)

I was ticked off beyond belief when they turned Sylar into Nathan, then introduced Barbera.  What the shiznitz? You get rid of the only viable threat to introduce a villainess wannabe?! I'm tired of stuff like this! Last time, they shot Sylar and tried to turn Nathan into the villain in terms of morals and ethics.  How'd that work out? Oh yeah, that's right- it didn't! He was a weak bad guy; really.  Now, its not a question of 'is sylar coming back', it's a matter of 'when is the inner-battle, and who's going to win'. I'm going on strike if it's not soon and Sylar comes out on top. No offense to all the Ali-Larter-girls and Nathan Petrelli, but Sylar is the only really good bad guy, and the only one I care to see on the show.  Sure, have some peripheral antagonists, but give me back my psychopath. Seriously. But if this was all a ploy to get people to watch, it worked. Monday nights from 8-9, there's no way I'm blinking till Zachary Quinto shows back up on that screen to stay.

Sorry, but it's not exactly my fault that my stupid computer wouldn't load the second page.  MY BAD.  Didn't mean to aggravate you.  Allow me to correct myself: Tracy (still think she's a wannabe).

And btw: don't call me an idiot, ok?
