   couldn't samuel just track ando to boost his power a thousandfold.despite him using it offensively he should still be able to boost his power

   I think Samuel wants a more permanent solution that doesnt need him to be around someone all the time. He wants to be more independant.

   Agreed. It's not a power boost Samuel wants, but a permanent increase in what his ability can do. Surrounding himself with other "specials" will do far more for him than a zap from Ando ever would.

   And having Ando around all the time would be awkard, especially when Samuel has to use the bathroom. And Ando probably wouldn't agree to it either. It would put a strain on his marriage to Kimiko.

   Good thing it isn't permanent, or every villain in the world would be after him, and poor Hiro would be teleporting everywhere to save him.
