What should happen in season 5
Claire should become Bad, Magneto type personality. Samuel should be killed off, he is annoying. Sylar should start seeinng his vitims in his head like he was in Parkman's head in season 4, causing him to become completly lost. HRG assembles a team of people with powers to infiltrate the Carnival for Claire, starts to become ruthless, relentless, and crazed in his pursuit of the Carnival/Samuel only to find out he's dead and Claire is the leader of the Carnival group- ultimate heartbreak dissapointment putting him against Claire. Bring back the crazy lady with powers over weather to wreck havok in the pertrelli family's lives especially the mom.Posted 12/8/2009 2:48:41 PM #
Holy Crap!! These are horrible ideas!!Posted 12/8/2009 8:19:53 PM #
Not bad ideas. Better then the crap were seeing this year. What i would like to see in season5 is plenty of special effects. Crazy heroe fights. This hole season has been a soap opera in prime time.Posted 12/9/2009 2:04:28 AM #
Its not Crap at all....and they are incorporating drama into the mix. Plenty of Action in the last episode when Peter was pounding Sylar.
To Stir things up...Season 5 will need to
1) Kill of Sylar - Once and for all
2) Bring in Samson
3) Bring the Weather Lady back
4) Bring Micah back somehow
5) DONT make CLAIRE bad....we saw this already in season 3 and it just doesnt work for her.
6) Need BADASS Hiro
7) Have Claire with go Hiro to Japan and learn Kendo...Having Claire use a sword would be kind of cool to see.Posted 12/9/2009 11:49:27 AM #
Didn't have time to post of full comment earlier. But here's what I thought was horrible about the ideas above:
1. Claire having a Magneto type personality? I've compared Samuel several times on these forums to Magneto, why would Claire have a Magneto type personality?
2. Samuel should not be killed off.
3. Sylar should not start seeing is his victims in his head like Matt Parkman saw Sylar. That would mean that the show would need to bring back all of the dead characters that Sylar has killed in the past and cast them in a recurring role featured as "Sylar's daily nightmare".
4. The second to last idea requires Samuel to be dead, So again, horrible.
5. Angela's sister can come back, that's fine. Not that it would be neccessary to make next season any better.
But 4 out of 5 of the above ideas completely horrible.Posted 12/9/2009 1:44:46 PM #
I'll add my ideas to be fair:
I just want the next season to be a few years into the future, maybe with some flash backs to tie up loose ends.
Claire should be a part of the new company and reports to HRG.
Peter with his scar has something similar to his original powers back, but leads an underground faction of Heroes with Hiro, and Micah.
Both Claire and Peter think they are the good guys, but consider themselves enemies.
Samuel and Sylar both definitely bad, but have an "agreement" to stay out of eachother's way and not kill eachother.
Sylar is a loner, he hunts people with powers, maybe he'll get a love interest, and maybe she dies somehow, and now he is hunting Hiro so he can fix his mistake. (Maybe for season 6 and 7)
Samson will have found a new regen taken their powers and is now breaking all of the rules and must be stopped.Posted 12/9/2009 1:59:45 PM #
One more thing. Thing about Samuel that is most interesting is that he knows what he wants and has some kind of plan and purpose.
The other main characters Claire, Peter, and Hiro, have no idea what they are doing how they are going to use their powers to save the world, or what their purpose in life is (and Peter being a paramedic doesn't count!). After 4 seasons, we should be past that.
Which is why the next season should show growth in the characters and I think it will take a time lapse of a few years to do that.
It's kind of like Eastwick, the show was supposed to be about witches, but the girls didn't even realize they were witches until the last episode and they were only accidently using their powers and had really low self-esteem the whole season. No wonder it was cancelled!
I get that the initial appeal of the show was that normal people were discovering that they have powers, that's what got me hooked. However four seasons later the same people are still discovering they have powers. and still don't know how to use them properly. Does anyone really want to see them in Season 5 going through the same thing? Just think of Hiro blinking his eyes and nothing happening every other episode next year.Posted 12/9/2009 2:25:13 PM #
4 out of the 5 ideas above are completely Horrible!!!!!!!!!!
I want a Villain to go on a ramage killing spree like how Carnage would do in the MArvel comics....Spiderman had to team up with his nemesis Venom to take him down. Something in that nature. Samson being the crazy guy with the Hiros and Villains trying to stop him, but with a twist at the end for an advantage for the villains.Posted 12/9/2009 8:53:23 PM #
Sorry; I don't mean to butt in here, but are we forgetting that Edgar is out there on his own? His storyline may get wrapped up this season, but I'd like to see more of him- and not just cuz I'm a Ray Park fan . His character has real potential; we saw that in his tense interactions with Samuel. He has a real firmness of opinion, raw power, stubbornness, and a need to do things his own way- something, may I add, that we saw from early Sylar, and you see how amazingly his character evolved (until the nylar story- that was sad in many senses of the word). Something that was suggested to me was that "Sylar and Edgar form some kind of symbiotical relationship, and they try to take the Carnival down. Well, Edgar tries to take it down. Sylar is just along for the ride and the destruction." I'm personally not sure about this, because they both seem like such strong characters that are different in just the right places to rub each other the wrong way and would end up killing each other, but I definitely would like to see some more of Edgar.
I'm not going to pretend to know what should happen in season 5, but I will say that I hope they get a good villain. I have said it once, and I'll say it again, but this type of show doesn't work without a really good villain who forces the heroes to evolve and forces them to be one way or the other. It's just how it works. Samuel isn't quite there yet, and we don't know what Sylar is going to be up to. But I hope something gets worked out...Posted 12/10/2009 9:27:05 AM #
