Why is peter vulnerable?

   Can someone just explain to me why peter will die if he gets shot in  the back of the head. Why is he vulnerable in the back of his head I thought with Clare's ability he is invincible pretty much.?

   If you think about it their has been some similar situations to the one you just mentioned.  In season one when Claire was about to be raped she fell on a Log which pierced the back of her head which caused her to "Die", but once it was removed she came back to life on the operating table.  Also with Peter in the past when Sylar and him faced off in Mohinder's old apartment, Sylar pierced Peter in the back of his head wtih a glass Shard which caused Peter to "Die", but once Claire came and removed it from his head he was just fine.  So to that extent I say that nothing should be pierced into the brain to be fully functional, and if a Bullet is shot in their head theres no way somebody can just remove it.....OR.......unless they are at an operating table and somebody takes the bullet out by going in to get it...COULD they come back to life?  This is only referring to Peter and Claire because they have healing capabilities...everyone else is plain Dead if anything happens to their brain. =)

   Well usually the adrenal gland produces the powers but sylar look at the top of claires brain (adrenal gland is at the bottom) so i would think that means they work differently so maybe if you shoot there brain it stops there power working in someway
