Yes I've read all the books many times and IMO they are a zillion times better than the show :)

Do you think that they will put the exact same SLs in the show as in the books? I hope not - that would be very boring...

I've only read the first and am anxiously waiting for the second to come into my library...

I don't think they will. After all, they've already strayed from the plot in some parts... like the pictures of Maya and Emily. That's not what happened in the books. Also, I doubt that they'll have Emily's mom be a racist in the show, since the actress who plays her daughter is black. (I think? Correct me if I'm wrong :) )

Thats originally what I thought too but the actress who plays Emily is actually Filipino....or half Filipino
