but yeah, ita. you've obviously got different opinions, so why not share them? (as in the entire point of a forum....) and the title of "cast YOUR own PLL" might have been a good clue.
and you're welcome.... trust me i get how people can be on the internet. it always helps to have someone who's actually NOT attacking you. people think it's not offensive or it doesn't matter, just because they're not actually saying it to your face. not true.

Absoultely. I mean for example, racism and discrimination portrayed on the web is no less hurtful or judgemental than doing it in real life. The only difference is that you're protected behind your computer's screen. HELLO? A little learning is a dangerous thing, but a lot of ignorance is just as bad.

wow!!! I haven't read the PLL books so I can't actually participate in this thread but I have a question... The choices you made are so different from the actresses that play the girls.. e.g. you chose blonde actresses for both emily and spencer and a brunnette actress for hanna.. so do you believe, according to the books, that the choices could've been better?

Okay, so it's been awhile, but I just wanna say that I've replaced MJH with Diane Neal from Law and Order: SVU, seeing as I love this show and when I see her "Melissa" just pops in my head.
Yes, she's a natural red-head, but she has dye her hair on occasions, so it's not really a big deal. Fine, so I might be victimized, AGAIN, for my choice, but whatever. And @annika, though the actor choices are obviously different from those of the books, I have to honestly say that the casting was done really well because each of the girls (Lucy, Ashley, Troian and Shay respectively) bring a little...substance to each of their character. They bring the characters to life, ykwim? I would rather actresses who look nothing as how they're described in the books but are excellent actors than actresses who look EXACTLY how they're supposed to but have no talent what so ever. :)Posted 10/18/2010 5:23:33 PM # -
Also, replacing Kat Dennings as Aria with Jessica Stroup.
At first I thought Kat was perfect for the role, but now I'm not so sure. Maybe it's her way too big breats and her curvy figure? I think the girl that plays Ali is a pretty good choice and I like Lucy Hale as Aria but I'm not sure about re other ones. Not because they're not pretty because they so are, I just likenehen my blondes in books are blondes on the show. HahahaPosted 11/8/2010 1:23:14 AM #
