I didn't read the books, so I'm feeling like "A" is Ian. Also, we know how Lucas felt about Alison, so would it really be surprising to find out he is the one that destroyed the shrine??? Although I highly doubt he is the murderer!

They didn't show who A was. I mean they're not going to I think until the Series finale. It would take away a lot of the suspense and mystery if they gave it away so early. Which is why I knew we wouldn't find out this episode I mean it's not even the season finale.. just the summer finale. But still.. I wish Hanna would've just texted the girls the name because I feel like it was so stupid of her not to considering "A" may've killed Alison, tore apart her shrine, broke into their house... and yet she didn't.. instead she chose to spy on A alone, which is brave but still a bit stupid & follow her/him someplace. Though I love Hanna that really bothered me. I too think it's Mona. But like some things wouldn't make sense. Like "A" hung up Emily's/Maya's kissing pics all over a wall I think Mona's parents would realize that.

it's mona in the books (well..at first at least) and lucy hale said they're doing it completely differently on the show. So it can't be her.

Yes this episode was the finale. More episodes will probably be back in January
