Who is your favorite character?

Let's get this forum going! I'll start by answering my own question: I like Hanna the best because they've done a great job so far developing her back story...

I like Hanna as well! I think there's something interesting in her and they have given her the most background and layers so far. I think there could be something to Spencer too, I think she might have a big secret regarding Alison. She does seem like the one who knew her secrets best. Also, I don't believe that the night of Alison's death Spencer just decided to look for her outside, I think there might be something there... This girl is definitely hiding more than they're telling us. She's not as clueless as they all are, so... I'm really interested in her story.

I agree, I think Hanna is the best (even though I like Aria aswell). She has a very good story behind her character and all that, and she's really growing on me.

I like Aria the best, although that may just be my attraction to darker characters XD
However, I also like how she's so protective of her parents, and truly doesn't want her mom to get hurt. Her entire world is in danger of falling apart (what hasn't already) and I get the feeling she'll do whatever she can to prevent that.
And her and Ezra together are adorable
I hope to see lots more of them, and more exciting scenes! Posted 6/23/2010 2:40:01 PM # -
i kinda like the 4 main girls equally.. as of now, no favourites :)

Hanna is the best one :) She's the only one who has any meaning and depth to her. The character I like the least is Emily but I think that's just because her storyling is a bit rushed. I think they need to actually sort out the background characters and make them more subtle, because they're all so stereotypical, it'll get boring quickly. I know it's the first season so they kinda have to keep the audeince interested with the storylines, but I wish they'd just slow the pace a little bit!!

@Kayleigh
Yeah. I was thinking the same thing. Especially since this is a tv show; if they want to get multiple seasons out of this, they're going to have to not put so much into each episode and slow down a little. After all, what are they going to do when they've done everything from the books? Although... they've already steered away from the books in some parts... maybe they'll add some plot lines of their own.

I think Spencer and Hanah are really relatable, which in my books, make them likeable. During my highschool days I've gone through what some of each has (expecting to get good marks all the time and be the best {Spencer} and going from the wallflower to a social butterfly, but with bf troubles {hannah}, and its reafreshing to see a little more that a hint of realisticness in these characters.
I also like Aria, and I think Lucy Kate Hale is doing an excellent job of portraying her. When I see her now, I don't think of her as other characters shes played (i.e. Rose from Priveleged). She seems to be the centre point of the girls in this show with trying to be mature, & holding her family together while grappling with her own forbidden affai. That's juice right there, but at the same time you can't help but want everything between her and Ezra to work out or get steamier... because they seem so genuine. Plus they make a good looking couple and its like a guilty pleasure just watching them interact.
Oh yea. I also heart Wren, just cuz he's so darn cute and British and all ;
