SPOILER ALERT!
So in the books, Mona is A....does anyone think they'll change it up and make it so it's Jenna or Toby?

i guess they could, but it doesn't make sense for it to change.they did a really great job with sticking to the books so far, so why switch it?personally, i think it's just making it out that it's Jenna or Toby but it's probably just to keep the viewers guessing[=

Well technically, there are two A's. Well in the first four books, it's Mona ofc, but *spoiler* she dies. After her death, ANOTHER A comes into the picture. Who is this you ask? None other than Alison herself. (Don't ask. lol) Btw, *another spoiler* I hear Toby kills himself in the books. :( I hope the writers don't follow this sl, though.

I have read the books, and even though the show sticks to most of the main ideas and happenings in the books, are there some differences that could affect the final outcome? I'm just asking because I definitely have no idea and just want other's opinions. Wren and Spencer play out their whole fling in the book, Hanna and Mona both crash Sean's car, Ezra Fitz doesn't just disappear in the books, Aria and Sean date secretly then go to a dance where Hanna finds out, Emily and Toby do go to a dance together in the books, but he and Emily are in a car where he tells her he hated Alison and she fled and he followed her to her house and she told him through the door that she knew what he did to her, meaning Alison, but he thought she meant Jenna, then he runs in the woods and his body is found later. Then Spencer spills how she knew he was in an physical relationship with Jenna. Please correct me if I have gotten any of this wrong, it's been a while since I finished the books, especially the earliest ones. Mona certainly seems scary in the show too, with her telling Hanna at Homecoming that she would take her down if she threatened their popularity by socializing with Lucas, so the show might just stick with the books on every outcome. The show just keeps throwing me with the crazy stuff at the end during the closing credits, like changing the population sign, then the gloved hand grabbing Toby's file pages out of the water last night. Did that happen in the books? I don't remember it if it did. I am certainly no good at predicting which way the show will go, the books completely fooled me, and they certainly are good enough to keep everyone watching the show even if they don't deviate from the books one bit! Love this series!

Lucy Hale, Aria, in the show, had an interview with ryan seacrest and said that the show will switch it up and make A somebody else, so readers will have to try and figure it out all over again lol

So I just had a thought what if Melissa was a? I mean it makes perfect sense she would have the opportunity and she would have motive because if Melissa were dating Ian at the time Allison was seeing him that would make her mad. Please let me know if anyone else Thinks this as wellPosted 1/24/2011 10:05:44 PM #
