think i know who A is

There are TWO A's in Pretty Little Liars. The first A is Mona V, who discovered all the secrets about the four girls when Mya moved into Ali's old house, and Ali's diary was with the things that Mya moved out of Alison's old room. Mona takes this diary and gets her revenge from when the four girls were mean to her and called her a loser. Mona gets killed when she was trying to push Spencer off a cliff. Spencer moved away, and Mona fell down the cliff instead, therefore killing A number 1. The second A is really Alison DiLaurentis-The Alison that the girls were friends with was really her identical twin sister, Courtney. Courtney was mentally ill, so they sent her to a mental institution. However, Courtney escaped from the mental institute and sent the real Ali in her place. Courtney got rid of all of Alison's old friends so they would not figure out that she was not Ali, and got 4 new friends, Spencer, Hanna, Aria, and Emily. The real Ali escaped from the mental institution and killed Courtney, then buried her in the backyard. Of course, when they found Courtney's body, they thought it was Alison, because they are identical twins. Alison then became the second A because she found the diary that Courtney was keeping about the 4 girls and all of their secrets.

I think you are now telling the story of the book. But the question is are the makers following the books?

My question is in the theme video why is Aria the only girl 2 shhh at the end? does Aria kno more secrets then the other girls?

I think A is Maya St. German. It makes since, because at the end of one episode, A was shown buying a pair of black high heel boots. When Maya comes back, Maya seems to be wearing the same boots, which Hanna says is in season. Which other way would Maya be able to wear boots when she was in Boot Camp!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, Maya probably found Alisons old journal, where she finds all of the PLL's secrets, and she decides to put on an act.
If this isn't right, then the Producers and Directers of the show probably decided to stick to the book and Maya and then Ali are A, but they probably want something that no one would expect.

I love a lot of theories. Especially Maya! It makes the most sense when you think about it. No, for anyone who thinks it will be someone we havent even seen yet, thats not true. In an article on the website there is an interview with 'A' and it says you have already heard the voice of 'A' AND that 'A' is a series regular. Thus it is someone we all know... like Maya :)

In season1 when maya spends that last night with Emily in Spencer's room, it shows "A" spying through the window and then Maya leaves and walks right past "A" hiding in the bushes. So MAYA CANT BE "A".Posted 1/6/2012 4:01:42 AM #

Mona was riding a horse with Hannah when "A" massaged Emily so its not Mona either. The grunting during the fight sequence in 2x14 sounds like Paige. "A" is pobably Paige or Lucas.Posted 1/6/2012 4:03:20 AM #

I agree with Molly S. I said the exact same thing before about Aria doing the "shhh" thing. And remember when Noel was blackmailing Ezra into giving him an A grade? Ezra didn't wanna give him the "A" and then the girls got a text saying, "A is for Alison, not Amateur". Maybe Ezra was saying that Noel's work wasn't worthy of an A because it was amateur.Posted 1/8/2012 8:43:48 PM #
