twilight is for young girls trueblood is for adults! i have read all of both series of books and have seen T. the movie and every TB. episode lets just say i love vampire books and shows but i am a adult! take a bow charlaine harris and Allen ball charlaine series is the best!!!! i strongly encourage all to read the sookie stackhouse series and i pray we get to see the true Eric emerge!! in the books he truly evolves he is a very deep and charismatic character!

I have read the twilight books, and have watched both True Blood and Twlight and I will admit that I liked both. Yes, I did get flung into the craze as soon as I read the books but then once the initial haze that was Twlight was over I kind of realised how truly normal Twilight was. True Blood is a more complex and intriguing series that Twlight will ever be, but Twilight was never really about that. In fact, if we're honest, Twilight was an author's attempt to let out a fantasy into writing. It was addictive at first, but it quickly falls flat once you actually put thought into the series.
Although I will say this, Breaking Dawn has to be the worst book I have ever read and that's saying something with the amount I've read. It was stupid, the plot was uninteresting, it gave the characters everything they wanted, the bucketload of angst that was strewn throughtout was proved pointless seeing as the war that was built up ended up never occuring and the only death that occured was of a minor character that was only briefly mentioned in one of the earlier books and as such there was no emotional attatchement with the death. Oh, and least we not forget that birth scene, that had to be the most disgusting thing ever. I feel sorry for the younger ones who end up being sucked into the craze and reading about that bloody scene. Utter crap, that turned out to be.

I agree, True Blood is good, Twilight was like an after school special and broke way too many of the vampire rules...

True blood has everything...!!! Twilight only serves the purpose to entertain little ten year old girls... I mean dont get me wrong I thought Edwards Cullen was hot when I first saw the movie... but than I saw Eric Nothman... Eric Northman could kill Edwards with the snap of his fingers. haha...

Trueblood is not only intended for a different audience, but far surpasses the drama and detail of twilight. Twilight isn't a bad show... if your a 13 year old girl still in middle-school. But as for widespread popularity and luster, it's not even a comparison. Please don't even try to compare the drama between the two, trueblood leaves audiences begging for another episode regardless of their age!

OOH and one more thing edward is dosent matter if the god dam vampire sparkles or not it's about a bloody love story and the sparkeing fits his part as a vampire have you learnd nothening about twilight i mean it was all sephen mayers book and ideas so it's up to her
