HOLY CRAP HOW AMAZING WAS THIS EPISODE?!?!
I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time - there was the always awesome Alaric/Damon bromance, Elijah being cool then being stabbed and dead then alive then really dead, great Bonnie/Jeremy scenes with a side of "Dude he just stole her powers!!", flashbacks with Lexi (yay!), not to mention the epic Elena/Elijah showdown where I was literally yelling "Go Elena, Go Elena, Go El--DUDE, SHE JUST STABBED HERSELF!"
...so yeah, I liked this episode. Your thoughts?

HELLLLLLLLLLL YEAH.....this episode was just AMAZING....it was like a mini-movie....loved all the subplots and bonnie, man she has it bad!! i feel for her and elena....and damon and katherine,.....woaw i think damon thought it was elena nakedd....! and stefann tooo much good truth too handle.....
LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!

this episode IS really amazing! i really enjoyed it. i can't beleive that elena actually stabbed herself ONLY to stab elijah with the dagger! i didn't believe she had it in her. AND STEFAN ! who knew stefan could be so badass. and i thought DAMON was badass. but stefan wow! Damon was actually the one who wanted to HELP stefan. you gotta love DAMON !

ITA - it was SO rollercoaster like as well. Tons of awesome subplots, and twists and turns at every corner; Damon's gonna kill Elijah, no wait he can't or else he'll die, Alaric just killed Elijah!, no wait he's not really dead, Elena stabbed herself!, then she stabbed Elijah!, now he's dead!, oh and Katherine got out of the tomb!

Before the commercial came back where Elena stabbed herself. I was like maybe Elena will kill elijah they'll probably go back to Stefan's house and do it there. I totally didn't see Damon showing up and Elena stabbing herself. That girl has guts.

She really does have guts! I've loved her in the past two episodes - I'm really enjoying watching the Elena that holds her own against these physically superior beings. First last week with stabbing the werewolf dude, then throwing him off her trail, then stabbing him again - and now this week with standing up to Elijah, actually making him lose his cool (which no one has been able to do up until now) by having the courage to stab herself, and then killing him!
Elena has definitely earned my respect.

The only thing i don't like about this episode is that Elijah's dead. !!! I want him to be back.. :(

I love badass Elena! The ep was just amazing! There was SO much going on!
(am i the only one who finds human Damon really adorable lol?)
Yay Katherine is out of the tomb and back to being her awesum self! Bonnie needs to get her powers back! ELIJAH HAS TO COME BACK!!!!!!!

That was quite the best TVD episode ever! A vampire would also die if he kills an original! And I never thought Elena would be the one who kills Elijah!!! And Katherine's out of the tomb... Finally!!! :D

my girl's out of the tomb and Alaric's finally starting to get some more action lately! Elijah's dead but of course he won't be like that for long (yay!) - and I loved the way he ran towards Elena to heal her after being stubbed. speaking of that, stubbing yourself (even though you know you won't die) takes lots and lots of guts...
