LOL. Never thought i'd see the day when Matt would be more important to the plot than Tyler. I really don't blame his characterbecause he hasn't changed since we loved him when Forwood just started. But the fucking writers have just made him SOOOO irrelevant. Why is it that he's always written apart from the main group in season 4? Its like he's not friends with them anymore. Why couldn't he be at the cabin helping Jer. Once upon a time they were besties. It just makes no sense and perfect sense at the same time that Ty's gonna go. The writers totally isolated him and made him take on Matt's role for the season.

I'd hate to say it. But I think it's because of Klaroline. The less the group associate with Tyler the less we're reminded of their divided loyalties. Not that I'm complaining. I quite like it this way. But still, poor Tyler. Its not his fault he's boring as hell. And honestly, I'm pretty sure (despite what he told Caroline) that he and Hayley really did hook up during their naked werewolf bonding days.Posted 2/10/2013 5:18:16 PM # -
The question is what will he do once Klaus leaves, because his whole storyline depended on him. Klaus was the only reason he had relevance

Exactly. Even in late season 3 by the time Klaus started putting the moves on Caroline, Tyler was wayy out of the picture. I feel a bit bad for the kid, but at the same time I dont lol

Like I said, the actors have to buy me, and Trevino doesn't do it for me so it's hard to get into his character, even with Tyler being justified because I don't think he's done anything wrong. I was bored with him before Klaus noticed Caroline, and IMO, it looks like he's the type of character the writers aren't invested in but they still want to keep him around, like Matt. And like Red said, Matt is actually more relevant.

What is this I'm reading about Tyler leaving? Is it real life or is it fantasy?
I won't get my hopes up until I see this with my own eyes though, this show has disappointed me one times too many.
But why would he leave now? Perhaps he learns about a werewolf pack in Tibet and goes to lead them, since he was born a leader, like Caroline told him (LMAO what was that bullshit). Fingers crossed that he'll be away from my tv screen for as long as possible. And if he wanted to take Matt with him in Tibet, I wouldn't mind.

If the episode devastated her, It means I will most likely enjoy it a lot. Her taste is the worst.
